It will take hours before you’ll notice, their claims of immediate heat, is nonsense But when it gets going, you will notice the difference You can get Plug-In versions too, which I’ve used myself That might use less Electric? Btw, you should’ve put it much lower to your Ground Level tbh Comment from : @Excommunicated-ei1ep |

Please allow me to dispel some inaccuracies Batteries are measured in two power ratings Watt hours which is power over time, and Ampres or Amps which is the amount of current the battery can output at maximum draw Each battery has a MAXIMUM amount of amps it can output before being damaged or tripping the damage protection Each item has a specific amp draw it needs to function You need to find out how many amp hours your battery can handle May I also suggest looking into getting a unit made for 12v operation The draw would be significantly less Comment from : @Plasmastorm73_n5evv |

I bought one of these I knew that fan forced heat uses too much electricity for the fan I used this a few times facing very near me I am thinking of disabling the fan, take off front cover, plug it in and stand back and see if it heats without melting 😮 Comment from : @ronirios3377 |
Lol I don't understand why anyone would think something so tiny would do you any good in any space We live in 2023 this kind of foolish testing is not necessary takes 5 seconds of research At least test something that's fun and logical anybody who has the most basic understanding of heat knows just by looking at this thing that there is no chance Comment from : @josheakins5137 |

I use a hair dryer Comment from : @OTLB |

When it is 24 outside, bringing your car up to 50 INSIDE is decent But electric heaters are notorious for lacking efficiency Comment from : @markthomas2436 |

If you are on the floor it will not make a difference But if you would put a fan on low to circulate the heat from the top to the floor it would make a difference Comment from : @soniacheek6768 |

I would be looking for an electric heater with a variable output from 300 to 500 watts with 350 to 400 being the main levels I'd use To find a portable power station that would provide 10 hours I'd have to buy a fairly large power station with a big sticker price I'm really thinking hard on getting a white gas catalytic heater like Coleman puts out as a tent heater but not sure as to how long a full tank lasts on one of them Comment from : @rh7163 |
I just have to say that I learned so much and got so many ideas from reading these comments Thanks to everyone taking time to share information! Comment from : @danib6541 |

I've had that very heater for several years now Use it in my van when on shore power and it'll support 30° temp diff with the outside temp It's an insulated cargo van and that's with the curtains closed isolating the garage and the cockpit Once it's into the teens or no shore power I'll fire up the diesel parking heater, and that thing will cook me if I don't open curtains and windows! LOL I like the little heater when shore power is on FWIW Comment from : @arnoldpreece7804 |
I really think it's meant for a spot on your home desk while you maybe for example doing homework or on a side table while you're watching TV or relaxing in your living room Comment from : @marthadunham9043 |

That's so odd I came across this video 2 years later, so I went out and did the same thing for my Astro van I live out of, but I never really have ever used the heater 😂, I have a 1500 watt pure sine power inverter with 1200 watts of solar on the roof and 2 house batteries backing it all up, but when I plugged the heater in ( mine is 300 watts) my house batteries went from 90 down to 70 in a matter of 3 minutes and although the heater did work, I didn't want to chance running my power down to nothing for something as simple as using more blankets or dressing warmer in my van Comment from : @jamesdeluca |
I BLV THAT (THAT) heater"is" worth it RespectfullyI blv a very important component (per your conclusion) was not accounted for: namely, the outside temp was 23 degrees, and inside 51 That's a delta of almost 30 degrees SO EVEN THOUGH IT DID NOT (RAISE) YOUR INSIDE TEMPERATUREWHAT IT DID, WAS TO (NOT ALLOW) YOUR INSIDE TEMPERATURE TO CASCADE DOWNWARD - DROPPING ; AND ULTIMATELY EQUALING YOUR OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE Thank you for the video Comment from : @jameskerry3826 |
Could you do the same test on the Keova Cupid heater? Comment from : @Surfishy888 |
Thanks for video Drawing alot off battery With not alot of heat difference Comment from : @TaylorandDaddy |

if you want to know what temperature your car can use, figure out the BTU's of the heater made in the car and don't expect something with lower BTU's to do the same job Comment from : @krm398 |
Let me fast forward to the 10 minute mark This thing is a joke and not worth 25 cents There All wrapped up for you Comment from : @frankcastle5294 |
Just using these types of heaters at home, I have found the ceramic ones to not be very good The best kind you can get is the fan-forced heaters For some reason, they work so much better I have one in my little 10x10 room and it keeps it toasty warm, even when I am using a fan at the same time for the noise value I'd get one of those and try it Comment from : @jodyel |
You say the heater made no difference? It kept the temp in your car from plummeting down to 23 degrees Comment from : @troyyarbrough |
