So many of these, I also did, and now I'm the redstone guy of our group haha! It also took me a week to understand I need a pickaxe to get cobblestone from stone when I first started But every mistake makes a lesson right?

I started playing minecraft really young when my older brother introduced me to it so I have no idea what my first world was I think I was 7 or 8 or smt Only thing I can remember is only using bricks, because in my country all of the houses are made of bricks so I thought it was the only way I wish I remembered more, these comments are all so funny lol

Don't feel too bad about the stupid things you did when you first started playing Minecraft I used to build dirt houses in creative mode for some reason and the first time I tried to use stairs for a roof I just put the stairs like on top of each other in a vertical line until I thought it was high enough and I'm 99 sure ( I honestly don't remember) that house was made out of magenta concrete and prismarine stairs and imagining that I think I would prefer a dirt house

Honestly your first starter base is nearly identical to my first starter base because I had no coal and no torches and I didn't know charcoal was a thing so I just put holes in my roof so that moon light would come in and stop mobs from spawning But that Did not work and a creeper blew up my base

I dug a new basement level beneath my “starter castle” just for them! I remember the first time I saw minecraft with a friend and he was holding a feather and my dum brain thought it was a knife brbrMy first house was worse than any dirt hut it was a 3x3 tower that had some floors being 2 blocks tall and others being 3 blocks tall made out of everything gravel,wood,glass,dirt,sand,cobble and the front door basically had a stone porch because of creepers brbrIt took me 1 year to finnaly figure out how to sprint

I was strip mining once and came upon bedrock At that time, I had never heard of or seen bedrock I looked up “gray and black ore Minecraft”, to find out it wasn’t some sort of rare and valuable mineral, but just bedrockbrbrAlso, always make sure you let go of direction keys before stopping crouching, because you could run straight into a pool of lava Later I found out about keepinventory, and played with it in that world ever since

I used to play peaceful mode because I thought that you couldn't kill a creeper, only make it explode and that skeletons one shot you (and that was before shields came out)brI also remember how when 112 got out, I absolutely hated it because the rose wasn't there, the banners I found weird, I didn't understand why they made bed in many colours (I always played 18 or 19)
