I figured the pcper video would be pulled, one way or another Comment from : Dycedargs Elder Brother |
Your summary of his comment is wrongbrHe said they can afford to spend massive amounts of cash on research because even if the super high profit margin product (AI, Car, Supercomputer) is a flop, the tech will also be able to be used in the PC gaming industry so it's not as risky as other industry research could be The gaming customers will atleast pay for the research so at worst they make a bit of money as opposed to just flushing all that R&D cashbrThat's not an evil concept Comment from : uglyduckling81 |

YOUR son tells this story of the day his sister went out with a young man who wanted to marry her She asked her mother for advice, in case the young man should want to kiss her … ‘Do what I did,’ said her mother, reminiscing of the beginning of her romance with the man who was to become Prime Minister ‘Just close your eyes and think of England’” Comment from : Phuck Pains |
The toes you step on today may be attached to the ass you have to kiss tomorrow “And when you begin refuting one another’s reasons, fussing back and forth, you generally do what a nationally known industrial relations authority warns you against: you wallow in the mud with a pig He says, ‘Never wallow in the mud with a pig, because the pig likes it’” Comment from : Phuck Pains |
A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle Comment from : Phuck Pains |

Some days you’re the pigeon, and some days you’re the statue Comment from : Phuck Pains |

You can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig BUT, brNever wrestle a pig; you will both get dirty, and the pig likes itbrbrDO U/? Comment from : Phuck Pains |

For anyone who doesn't know Bitmain makes the famous Antminer ASIC miners The chips they're ordering from TSMC are not GPUs rather designs from Bitmain's IP Comment from : Pablo |

Wanna teach a lesson those all miners?well after all curency are inflated and down dont buy a single graphic card second hand , instead buy a new one brand new no one use,it(let stick in their greedy miners neck all the graphic cards they have now) Comment from : rian nair |
your voice is so soothing, I never know when the 20min long video completed Love your narration skills Comment from : Aditya Choudary |
Great vid bud, pretty shameful what's happening to prices in both GPU's and RAM at the moment, it's going to dent PC sales and upgrades to a damaging degree imo Comment from : RedMonkey |
The current state of PC hardware is the worst I've seen in my 23 years of PC gaming PC Gaming was gaining some major steam as far as adoption and converting console users to the PC This situation could certainly hurt that and drive those future gamers right into the hands of console markets AMD and Nvidia should both share a vested interested in making sure the tech enthusiasts and gamers are able to get their GPUs for reasons other than mining Comment from : Talons Tech |
Correction the Ryzen 5 2600 is going to be competing against Intel's i5 8500 and i5 8600 (non K) They are both poised for release in February according online listings They have a 6 core all core speed of 39Ghz and 41Ghz respectively Comment from : Talons Tech |
Is a 1070 really mid-range? Its plenty powerful enough to push 4k graphics brbrMy opinion based tier list:brbrE-Sports: runs popular, low power games at med/high quality, 1080p 60fpsbrEntry: runs most AAA titles at very high/ultra (minus SSAA) quality, 1080p, 60fpsbrMid-Range: Runs all AAA titles at ultra (minus SSAA) quality, 1080p 144fps/1440p 60fps - VR starts herebrHigh End: Runs all AAA titles at ultra (minus SSAA) quality, 1440p 100fps/2160p 60fpsbrEnthusiast Flagship: Top shelf, best in the industry Consistently tops the benchmarks Comment from : PikaPilot |
It‘s crazy but you seem to be the only techtuber with any common sense Comment from : Simon |
So basically expect it Ryzen 2 to max out at 42, maybe 43 on the better silicon chips Comment from : Loundsify |
I'll just say it: cryptomining needs to die Comment from : Erevos85 |
I don't buy the argument that AMD don't dare to raise their production of Radeon cards because they had a bad experience of that from 2014 I'm pretty sure AMD can safely raise production with a few tens of percent There must be another reason why the don't do thatbrbrThings are quite different today The cryptocurrency that drives GPU sales today –etherium –is designed to be more or less immune against ASICs, which is what killed GPU mining of Bitcoin in 2014 There are many other rather popular cryptocurrencies today, so even if one goes away the others will fill the void And overall are there so many people and entities from different fields involved in cryptocurrencies today that the whole thing is definitely not going to go away It is volatile, but cryptocurrencies are here to stay Comment from : Snetmot Nosrorb |
Seems like i'm sticking with my gtx 970 for another year I'm just gaming on 1080p atm so its doing just fine actually :)! Comment from : Frank Logrim |

Death grip on my 45 year old 290X Still kicking 1080p games in the nutsbrbrHere is something all us gaming peasants need to see youtube/2Jqf_wZKFCc Comment from : IRQ1Conflict |
I got kinda lucky with my GPU purchase I bought MSI GTX 1070 Ti about a month ago for around 700$, though you have to take into account that here in Croatia all hardware is much more expensive than in US even in normal times (few months after release GTX 1080 which was on sale was about 30$ more than the same card on Newegg or Amazon) Now, just a month later there are only few cards left in that same store and most of them are 1050 and 1060 (3GB) models and are close in price as my 1070 Ti Comment from : 92Cuky |
Atleast the graphics card pricing menace hasn't hit Finland yet, which I'm happy about Comment from : Valtteri Kuusela |
wellwe as gamers should be happy that miners are buying up amd cards because it makes amd profitable which in turn can be used for r & d for future cards this is buying amd time to be able to make a good card this will allow navi to be super good sure they don't have to drop a new card for some time, because amd is simply better for mining, so as long as mining stays, it will give amd enough time to make navi great sure, i'd personally love for gpu's to drop in price to snatch one up i currently have a vega 56 and it is a great card for what i paid for it ($500 with 2 games), i could sell it on ebay right now and make a hefty profit thought about selling it and buying a 1080ti when they come back into stock butwith the prices of gpu's only increasing, i will hold onto it until it gets to $1200 for a used vega or when and if gpu prices normalize would love to have a second vega card i said fuck it and started mining myself with it i get 40 m/h's with it and i make around 5 to 8 dollars a day, depending on crypto prices at the time of mining Comment from : thor odin |
I think there SHOULD be massive incentive for GPU companies to prioritize gamers rather than miners When miners move on from GPU mining who will be left to buy them? Whether they realize it or not is a different story Supposedly Nvidia is trying to bypass 3rd party suppliers in order to get GPUs into gamers’ hands I hope Radeon will follow suit They need to do this Comment from : DonicsM |
I'm actually excited for the new Ryzen 5 2200 and 2400G, they would be perfect for small home servers without dedicated graphic cards if they have a reasonable price Comment from : MetroidChild |
Totally random Jim You still playing elite dangerous Comment from : Graham Boyle |
Because fuck me, right?brFuck the guy who, finally, after 8 years of second hand 775 socket dual cores, now a C2Quad, decided to upgrade just a bit too latebrfuck these prices, might as well give up on gaming and go buy some fucking bird food and go to a park or something Comment from : x1c3x |
Why should AMD bother with a large performance boost when few are buying new systems now because of graphics card and RAM shortages? Anyone who needs to buy now anyways should at least be pleased at the small boost from last year Comment from : Stu Bur |
Does that dude have any other jacket? Comment from : Kuzma Gameplays N Music |
The 8400 is a pathetic CPU in my opinion, no proper competition for the 1600 Comment from : Nico Volker |
I'm sitting on a huge build from 2009 An I7 920 with two AMD HD 5870 (I later upgraded to a single RX380) with 18 GBs of ram which runs absolutely everything in terms of gaming on the market today I feel like I'm not going to build my next system until late 2019 or even 2020 at this rate Comment from : Tankus |
Great Video - I like that you covered the insane graphics card situation - it is the craziest thing I have ever seen and I have been doing this awhile The current state of affairs makes building a new PC close to ridiculous! Comment from : dklingen |

Expect lower IPC gains, until 7 nm wafers appear to consumers Comment from : Apple5324 |
I gotta say, I was questioning myself when I ordered a 1070Ti for £440 before Christmas Now with these price spikes, I'm grateful I made the jump Those prices are insane Comment from : drkRoss |
Ethereum won't collaps that fast, the only thing for gamers to hope for, is, that dedicated etherum mining equpment is developed But I don't see this happening eitherbrActually I wonder, how that high GPU prices are still profitable for miners If you pay 800$ for a rx480 you'd need around 1 year of continous minign to get your money back Comment from : cahdoge |
Why do people keep repeating the myth that amd cpu's are bad at gaming It is slower than intel but it still plays all modern games without any problems and less stutter all that at a lower price and twice the cores 6/12 vs intel 6/6 There are so many videos onyoutube showing how well a ryzen 1600 performs I do not understand all the complaining Comment from : Jon320 |
gddr6 in mass production new cards will come Comment from : cheddle |
RX 580, 1060 "entry-level"brWow Comment from : Gewel ✔ |
Have you done a vid on Intel and this security crap and how they are responding ? Comment from : 2ndLastJedi |
I hope those cryptos become worthless so people can actually start thinking of buying new PCs to play on I dont even bother upgrading my RAM because its so damn expensive, fucking hell Comment from : SinrOne |
First product on new node is never as good of a product as it could been later Amd should make 12nm rx580 it is ok card for fhd and it should be cheaper to make and faster than 14nm Comment from : Uroš Golob |
