Just got my console and controller today pre-owned GameStop and I'm stuck in that setup menu the controller has no problem charging through the USB cable connected to the PlayStation I try to hit the PS button as it says on the display screen controller just blinks and does not connect I've hit the reset button in the back 5-10 seconds turned off and on while leaving controller plugged in numerous time trying nothing

To whoever having this problem i have found this fix by myself and i thought id share it to everyone who needs help since i’m surely nobody knows of this, but all you need to do is open your controller not hard it doesnt need you to do many big things just open controller and carefully disconnect the flex cable that is connected from the light to the motherboard and connect it back and it would work
