Well, the unlocked framerate makes sense when there's a lot of enemies, even with the dips, the inputs are just way more responsive and I believe this is why people prefer unlocked framerates Hoping for the PS5 locked 60fps meta in all titles

does anyone who plays at 4K on ps4 pro have the same problem as me When you move slowly and you look at the flames of fire @ basecamp ( example ) it moves smooth, but when you stop moving ( standing still ) i find that the game goes in a sort of 15 FPS, the flames don't move smooth anymore it's the problem with everything, like particles, waterfalls, enemy's etc etc etc

such a talented team, impatient to see the scorpio version of the game, i replaying this one on ps4 pro ( unlocked fps preferred for me even if i got a nice 4K HDR TV ) i hope they will add HDR, and i'm happy for xbox one or 360 owners , cos on the 360 this looks awesome too for a console that is 10 years old pretty fantastic i wish all devs would give us the options like hi res, or more graphics, or more FPS cos atm on the pro it's really a mess

DF i have UHD TV and rise of the tomb raider, 4k mode look much better than standard ps4 modebrbr4k mode have some settings the same like 1080p enriched visualsEnriched mode have only better level of detail, tress fx and tesselation All other graphic settings is the same like 4k modeI prefer 4k mode is the best quality with very hight resolution Image is so sharp and clean All others setting is for players witch 1080p tvbrbrSo don't tell the people that 4k mode have the same quality like standard ps4 mode This is not true Textures quality if u change 4k and enriched mode is the same if u turn ps4 standard mode textures have lowest detail and much lowest anizotrophy filtering But 4k mode gives much more sharpnes and clean image than both 1080p mode 4k mode have higher level of detail than standard ps4 mode generally is better

Sorry but I do not agree with something you mention on the videobrbrYou say that the unlocked mode (high performance I think it is called?) has no frame-pacing issues when, according to your frame-time graph, they do The frametimes are completely binary because you only have 33 and 16ms frametimes This can only happen when you have vsync, and vsync at 45fps can never be stable, simply because the way it works it is creating stutter by slowing down each other refresh rate So you have a frame at 33 ms, another one at 16 ms, and so on This is stutter-y

This game just goes to show that the Pro is a very nice (and capable) piece of kit The only problems have been with regards to the consistency, ie some games out there that haven't had a Pro patch could really do with one, and the efforts of certain developers Going forward, because the Pro should be factored- in during the latest games development, we should see much better results
