Thank you for this great video, it stopped the panicing 😅 I have a Stenocereus Pruinosus Spralis And he or she got aproxamly the same color as a few of your cacti Yeloisch, pale green/black I didn't think it could be rooth rot because i didn't give it water since i bought it, i didn't see any bugs, so i gave it a little bit of water and maybe that was it 😇 Love the video!! Have a nice day 🤩😍 Comment from : @carineds |

Hi Lyn, great information here! So you just give them a light watering the first time after winter, great to know When it comes to repotting cacti, do you want until after this first watering and repot them in the spring? I is my understanding you want to repot them dry and wait a week to water after, but don't repot directly after the winter rest Love your channel! Comment from : @gabriel-contentwriter5578 |

Your organization is inspiring I've finally clued in just how important it is over all the side projects with the plant hobby that brings clutter Because I find ultimately if you aren't organized something ends up suffering totally negating whatever benefit the little mess of projects would have accomplished I guess we all have to learn our own certain lessons the hard way haha I can't wait for your spring bloom videos, those are my favorite You inspired me to get into succulents with some really cool orchid cactus for their blooms Comment from : @WaterspoutsOfTheDeep |

I think I told you a couple years ago that, because I couldn't collect rainwater, I was watering my plants with reverse osmosis/deionized water It worked for me, but since it contained no nutrients, the plants grew very slowly Seeing how you and others I saw online were doing so well with rainwater, I started thinking about how to modify my purified water to make it more like rainwater My first step was to research why rainwater was so good The thing I found out was that rainwater was dirty When water vapor in the atmosphere condenses into mist it needs some solid core to form around That core is particles of dust lifted by the wind from the ground to high in the air, as well as smoke from various fires Dust, being pulverized soil, contains the same minerals as soil on the ground In addition, rainwater absorbs nitrous oxide from the air Since these dust particles are tiny, the rain is only able to absorb a very tiny amount of minerals The total dissolved solids (TDS) in rainwater ranges from about 30 to 40 PPM To make simulated rainwater, I decided to use tomato food, 12-15-30 with 5 calcium and a range of trace elements I set a goal of 30 PPM (Since I am also growing a few Venus flytraps, I wanted dead soft water) That led to a problem I filter out my water in gallon jugs I had no way to measure out the tiny amount of fertilizer needed to make a gallon of water So, I put 400 milliliters of purified water in a pint jar and added a half teaspoon of fertilizer to it That gave me a solution that I could accurately measure into my gallon jugs It turned out that thirty milliliters of this solution, added to a full gallon jug, gave me a final solution of 28 PPM That is what I have been watering my plants with for the last few months Naturally, I will be watering most of my plants with a stronger solution once a month to produce stronger growthbr Since I am still experimenting, I would welcome any comments or suggestions Comment from : @emmitstewart1921 |

It is upsetting that the government in the US has declared us unfit to own Loph Williamsii Such an interesting cactus 🌵😞brbrIt is only legal in Arizona if you're lucky enough to live there Unfortunately that is not my homeland Comment from : @brabbytimsin7088 |
