I got in a bad car wreck on July 8, 2021, I broke The 4 lowest vertebrae in my back, my S1, and multiple ribs, and collapsed my left lung I recovered relatively fast I was back walking around by October of the same year I didn't anticipate how badly the mental side of losing all my progress in fitness kept me back I finally adopted a philosophy of progress, not perfection My ego was so bad that I thought pushups were beneath me However, to succeed we must master the tools at hand for better tools to appear I've started doing push-ups, curls, and air squats In sequence 1rep,2reps,3reps,4reps,5reps,6reps,7reps,8reps,9reps,10reps,9reps,8reps,7reps,6reps,5reps,4reps,3reps,2reps,1rep With 30lb DBS for curlsbrbrFor push up I do 1rep,2reps,3reps, and 4reps, 5reps The goal for push-ups is to be the same as abovebrAir Squats - as many sets as it takes to get 50brI do this threw out the day brbrRemember when you have to rebuild "Progress not Perfection"

Used to do 400 pushups ,sit-ups, and squats Blew up my back and triceps and was great for conditioning for weight training getting used to struggling but still going Would take me most of the day but I’m really do think it helped make me stronger mentally Bc if I could do that, I could do weight training

if youre doing a "reasonable" amount of reps say you do 3 sets of 10 pushups a day, do you need to do a warmup beforehand even if youre not pushing to failure?

This is interesting I've been watching many videos which say "do X reps per day" without taking into account that might be too many or few reps for other people Every person has his own capabilities and we must figure out how far we can go in lieu of simply following what works for an already buffed and trained guy

I tried doing nuclei overload training by doing six sets of failure on pullups everyday and did it for around 6 days maybe and my pullups went from 20 to 12 In a week from fatigue I guess

Our method is the same, everytime i walk theu tthe garage, quickly do 10 pull/push/ dips Game loadingdo 10photoshop loading do 10, stupid commercial it's easy getting to 100/day and not feel wrecked, but still see results

Started training 2 months agobrStarted with 50 push ups a day right now im doing 250 push ups a day with 4 to 5 different variations and started chin ups today i did 50 not in a row of course But with the push ups i gained a lot more definition on the chest and shouldera and my arm grew a litle Im anxious to see what the pull ups will do too

i really recommend this methode i personally got this from hershel walker bri went from being able to do 36 push ups in one set at the end of 2020 to 50 push ups in one set in only 2 months of doing this

I been doing pull ups at least 3 times a week since 10-11 from having pull up bar always in my house and I’m convinced that most of my strength in grappling has come from just this alone After 6 months of 3 times a week I think anyone can get to doing at least 15-20 rep max max

Way back 2015 I've watched Vince Del Monte's video on 200 push ups and 50 pull ups everyday and I get "turtle shell lats" and thick chest I'm happy for my results but when i crank the number to 100 pull ups and 220 push ups(with dumbbell on my back) I make more gain and I look more experienced lifter
