After nearly 1000 hours in this game I just today accidentally found out that if you don Geralt's Nilfgaardian armor set (purchased from the Quartermaster in upper Crow's Perch (the merchant right by Joanna the Blacksmith, and Fergus,))you can gain entry into the House of Respite that sits just northwest of the Nilfgaardian war camp (which, itself, sits in the far southeast corner of Velen)brbrTurn to the right after you enter the building and you'll find a unique winged Nilfgaardian helm, like the ones the soldiers wear!
