When I was a first year apprentice I was taught to never use a wire brush or wheel to clean a file as it dulls the edge very quickly and makes the file useless I was also taught to never let files touch each other as that will also dull the edge The best way to clean a file is with a flat piece of aluminium or copper as described in other videos on this subject Comment from : roger allen |
