I used to play games like AC Brotherhood , far cry 3, prototype etc on a GeForce 210 (1 gb), so 24 fps is huge 😅

wow excellent comparison, now i understand why games are locked at 30 even though it can do little higher frames than 30fps In a nutshell consistency is the key not the higher fps with inconsistent frame jumps Thank you for the wonderful video

24fps in Games feel different than 24fps in Movies The Sweetspot for Games to simulate a Movielook, are smooth 30fps like on Consoles Its difficult to reach smooth 30fps on PC Games

60 is the bottom line 1080p is the most adequate and widespread resolution Only a small percentage of people have 4k monitors and TV's Regardless, I don't care what the resolution is if the game isn't hitting at least 60

I guess it would look only good for games with fixed cameras, like RE3, but otherwise, it would be very irritating when we move, as you said Still, it could be smoothed out by slowing shutter to get more motion blur, but I think if its used for certain missions, like you're on a drug and tripping and you have to finish the level, you can have a slow shutter at slow frame rates, Wong Kar Wai type thing or whatever, it could work for that, but not for normal running FPS games Maybe 3rd person game might look better, but will have to personally experience I still think, slowing down the shutter to get the right motion blur can be less irritating and most importantly, slow mouse sensitivity, so you're not panning camera like crazy

25 FPS is actually pretty serviceable if your monitor is configurable to 50 Hz (because it's 1/2 of 50), however it's quite rare and mostly exists in cheap monitors I played with this FPS with demanding titles on low-end PC and it's pretty great 25 FPS won't look smooth on 60 Hz without enabling screen tearing

The problem with 24fps footage in gaming is the annoying judder effect The only way to solve it is to edit it with frame interpolation but it won't help with HUDs and text Or have a monitor to match the fps in Hz such as 72, 120 or 144 Hz
