seus renewed and ptgi have the same lighting technique, the only difference is that the pgti has brighter lighting or auto exposure to simulate real life lighting also the pgti has better global illumination, rather than the renewed, it has pre rendered GI, the pgti stands for path traced Global Illumination Comment from : @justayoutubeuser8652

Comparting both PTGI versions I liked the HRR version more, not only because of performance, but the fact everything doesn't look perfectly sharp feels more natural to the eye Now, in all 3 I did prefer the Renewed rendering more than PTGI's For some reason the PTGI version feels overexposed, with quite a few places with blown-out highlights when compared to the Renewed Idk, maybe they can work out a better highlight rolloff or something like that to make it more natural or cinematic? I feel like they are all equal The Renewed does really nice, realistic shade, and on some items, such as glowstone, it does amazing lighting However on other light objects, such as lava, it fails to make feel realistic like E12 and HRR do I also dont like the fact that Renewed is missing those sunrays that E12 ans HRR have, as well as the fact that during a normal day it makes the game look monotone while E12 and HRR make it a lot more lively Comment from : @22XERO22
