I've never owned a houseplant before but growing up my mom had one of these pothos plants It was never in a pot It was always just one really long solitary vine with its roots in a jar of water on top of the refrigerator The vine would grow really long and my mom would pin it up on the wall and let it grow across the whole kitchen or living room And if it ever started to die or we moved she would just cut it small again or take a leaf off the end and grow a new one the same way Comment from : JDizzle |

My pothos always do better in a pot when they have several cuttings in there, too! And I feel like when you let them dry out, the roots start actually looking for water, and it makes them stronger If you water too often (which I have to stop myself!), the roots stay ‘lazy’ and weaker brbrI finally pruned my vines that I started from single-leaf cuttings this spring, and instead of rooting the cuttings in water like I normally do, I stuck them right in the pot I’ve read the cuttings end up more vigorous that way So far, I’m surprised at how good-looking the cuttings have stayed Fingers crossed they all survive! brbrAnd wow, your philo brasil? hanging basket is gorgeous 😍 Comment from : frequentj1 |
