But it is qnap that has been compromised a second time and its on mass, not just small amount of users, never heard of this happening to Synology and DROBO so there is obviously something qnap is doing that is making it easy to make the qnap very easily to be compromise and having root access to change host file to block updates and other internal changes Comment from : lee x |

There is something I do not understand We read about updateing firmware and malware remover app but at the same time QNAP has officially said that they have no idea how the QSnatch is getting in So They are just "guessing" that some firmware update has closed the door used by QSnatch, but by not knowing how it works nothing gurantees that the next firmware update will open that door again It is very very sad that after so many years QNAP has no idea at all Comment from : Jonathan ★ |
