It is far less expensive to simply buy two drivers, put them in an appropriately sized sealed box and equalize the bass response You get a bass response that rolls off less than this design does below the port resonance and you get accurate bass with low group delay that a ported design can never have Modern accurate hifi speaker designs don't use ports, open transmission lines or passive radiators

that was not powerful and not a subwoofer thats a 6 inch component speaker only good for treble, that box wont even work it would even sound beter with out the box, the speaker is too close to 3 walls, there should be the right amount of space around the speaker or subwoofer, this is the biggest mistake with a speaker and box ive ever seen

That looks to me like PB ( Polybutylene) pipe not One of the 4 types of PVC pipe, which are PVC-U for Unplasticized or PVC-O for Molecularly Oriented or C-PVC for chlorinated PVC and the toughest PVC-HI for High impact PVC Of course PB pipe is a good choice for it if you can find it in the USA, I think they still use it for underground conduit but not for plumbing anymore
