They keep delaying him and he will up and move to a country that won't!!! Comment from : Dave Shockley |

Excellent video I’m gobsmacked that the FFA is involved in the NZ launch failure of the rocket lab mission The FFA has no jurisdiction outside of the USA I can’t believe that to get the license to lunch from the USA, Rocketlabs has also given the FFA the ok to stick their noses into issues in NZ The laws of the two countries would be completely different Just wow Comment from : Ross Berry |
|
I think space x should add cost to government launchs to help with the cost of set backs the government has put on space x Because if it was the government none of this would matter they would tell people to shut up there's nothing over here Comment from : Brian Willenburg |

You ask for people to become patrons and support your channel but you can't take the time to edit a 10 minute video why should people pay for you not to take pride in your own work if you don't have the equipment to edit please get it it would improve your channel Comment from : Drew Johnson |

I think the FAA, EPA, F & WL, and what ever other idiotic alphabetic bureaucracy special interest group wants to stop and delay this process, and SpaceX in general, need to consider how much damage will be done to the planet and environment when they allow China, India and Russia to run the show That is exactly what they are inviting Comment from : Michael Harmon |
|
Why doesn't SpaceX simply purchase two large cargo ships, run them parallel to each other with a large deck between them, like a giant Catamaran? They could put a hole in the middle of this large deck, and instead of having a sail mast, it could have a launch tower Launch Starship from this launch tower in international waters There would be no need to wait for FAA approval, or any license from any regulatory agency for that matter They could use pumps to spray ocean water on the underside of this deck, and against the sides of the cargo ships much like their water deluge system in TX They could probably have this mobile launch pad up and running before the government will ever get around to giving them permission to launch Comment from : Hcardahs1 |

who is more likely to line the pockets of NASA exe's and congressional oversight bodies? That is why I am absolutely SURE SpaceX is going to get the green light as it has the concrete surety of bringing the next human experience of space flight to the next evolution and making these corrupt politicians and business interests extreme wealth with insider trading So there it is SpaceX is going forward and the competition is going to have to dish out lots of $$$ to bribe and kiss ass to get their shit into orbit with NASA This is the real world truth of this Comment from : R FP |
|
Beat if the FAA NASA and EVIRONMENTAL agencies get politicalsolutions could have already been resolved if they knew how to ask the correct questions Comment from : Goodday Sunshine |

At 5:04 why does Kelvin's eyebrows look like a figure eight? Any ways it is not Musk's intent to destroy wildlife Move past this hurdle before China wins more of this race Mostly because I want Musk and the US to be first in a few things Comment from : Ron Gray |

Faa doesn’t make any sense They already used the deluge system twice Is it suddenly going to be more toxic by actually launching the rocket? Comment from : ja sk |

SpaceX ought to wait to see if the changes made to the Boca Chica pad work as designed before building Starship launch facilities in the Cape Not only that, but they should wait to redesign some parts of the system, because there was a lot of ad hoc redesign on the fly, sometimes making things more convoluted The water deluge system, for example, had to be built around the OLM legs, and to have a flat top so the 'dance floor' platform can move in for engine maintenance The 'dance floor' has to be foldable in thirds because otherwise it won't fit between the legs (that were designed as six very early on, before they realized there would be need to replace/do maintenance on the engines with the booster on the pad) If SpaceX uses four legs for future OLM versions, they can be made thicker and stronger to do the work of six, while allowing the dance floor to be built in one piece without the need to fold to move in If the water deluge system is designed at the same time as the legs, the water pipes could be routed more directly, and a runout water system would be easier to integrate The chopsticks and the QD arm get in the way of one another, probably because the Chopsticks were not originally in the design Comment from : Marcelo Glenadel |

Remember when the administration at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave had a meeting with the EV community and they excluded Elon from that meetingwell the relationship isn’t any better when it comes to rocket ships Comment from : Canoga Knuckles |

Sorry but hasn't the Water Deluge System already been tested about 8 times twice during static fires if the Fish & Wildlife Service has a problem with it they've already done it why is this holding up the FAA in fact why is this anything to do with the FAA surely this is purely a FWS issue if its the Water Deluge and if so surely SpaceX are already in breach Comment from : Ian Holdsworth |

Landing PointsbrHow not to take advantage of such a great opportunity: when the Starships are fully operational, we are supposed to see the same routine that we see with the Falcons So why not take this opportunity to collect as much data as possiblebrIn each step that the Starship manages to overcome, there are steps that, just as the Falcons do routinely, these the Starships will do too SpaceX should surprise us by matching these steps to the extent that it manages to overcome each of the previous onesbrAnd this would only be achieved with large tarpaulins with circles outlining the landing points of both ships in the sea Surround them with cameras on rafts and drones so we can all see said spectacle In this way it would be possible to collect all the necessary data to achieve the success of these ships That is what I would do if I were Elo Comment from : Tomas F |

"The Fish and Wildlife Service is discussing the project details with FAA staff to understand the extent of new effects of the water deluge system That piece is a little bit of a wild card " said Kelvin Coleman
br
brThe water deluge system is a standard way to reduce the noise of a rocket during liftoff and, also, prevent damage to the launch mount I can't imagine what significant adverse impact it would have on fish or wildlife What Coleman's statement makes clear is that the FAA is actively looking for excuses to deny SpaceX a launch license for a second Starship/Superheavy launch Comment from : David Sims |
|
What do you mean "formally known as Twitter" It's ✖brLet's just move on Comment from : Jonathan Martin |

Godspeed Spacex Comment from : Sean Mendres |

There could be a serious set back to the Boca Chica pad if it is found that the deluge water is getting polluted by the rocket engines and the water is being left to drain away untreated Comment from : stuartgraca |

No launch until 1st quarter 2024 Elon only has himself to blame for these ongoing hinderances at Boca Chica You stick a launch site in the middle of a national park, it's inevitable the greenies will come after you - unless they are paid off Comment from : Michael Smith |
