I have a retropi 4b and on every pre-build image I get I it states "“start4elf: is not compatible This board requires newer software” Does anybody know what I can do to solve this? I looked under every rock but in 2022 the very best, almost cheapish offer was a guy on e bay After a little ebay discount I still paid a whopping 144,44€, for the 8gb But I wanted it for my 3d printer, so I ordered it, and after installing retro pie I was less than thrilled when I had to learn that all the good games are a no go, unless you get illegal roms You would probably be better of buying one of them retro consoles with pre installed games and a slot for original game disks from back when js Comment from : Mr Socko |

Protip You can compress your optical media games (CD and otherwise) into chd formatbrbrchd compresses games by quite a bit and saves lots of space on your micro SD card I turned all my sega CD, neo Geo CD, and PS1 games into chd files and I was able to pack more onto my micro SD card 🙂 Comment from : Marc Caselle |
