I know im a bit late to the party but if anyone sees this and has a clue it would be nice to know if you/DF tried enabling supersampling mode in ps4 pros settings?Maybe that switches the Image Mode like XOX just not ingame/only via console settings,not that pro could do full 4k/better than X but would just be interesting to know

Obviously the PS4 Pro version has NOT been optimized to utilize the additional power it has over the base version Either way, these type of racing games generally aren't super demanding CPU wise so not too surprised to see 60fps generally speaking

Ps4 pro needed its ram upgraded when they designed it instead of using same ram as regular ps4 That really holds back PS4 pro Hardware, its Ram limitations Xbox One X 😎👍 my personal choice for 4K Gaming Xbox One X is a perfect console this Gen I Hope MS continues with the high-end console approach for next-gen Hardware I just got Xbox One X and I plan on having it for a long time too play everything from the newest all the way to the beginning of OG Xbox history I love the backwards compatibility as much as the high-end graphics takes me back to when I got my first Xbox around 2001 Xbox One X is a premium high end console anyway you look at it

i was a Sony fanboy for 2 decades, bought a xbox one x before red dead 2 came out, i am super satisfied with the x, that´s what i call an upgrade, most enhanced games look and run amazing The pro is a big fail on the other hand, i am very disappointed, not a big difference between base ps4 and ps4 pro, fan is loud as hell, in most cases fake 4k, no dolby atmos, no Uhd bd support etc It´s ridiculous Ppl that defend the pro are just broke ppl that can´t afford to go both ways ;) I was also surprised how fun even Xbox exclusives are Forza Horizon 4 is probably the best racing game i have ever played Gears of war 4 is fun, Quantum break, sunset overdrive, halo 5 All games are fun to play

The difference in gpu power and x power isn’t nearly 1/4 It’s 42/6 they easily could have pushed for a higher res that’s dynamic If the Xbox one x holds 4k so well I bet the gap (with some modifications) could have been minimal Sorry but either they didn’t have time prior to launch or were just lazy (Changing settings isn’t that hard when there already there on the weaker consoles)
