i dont know if you still check comments for this video but i came across it this past fall - it inspired me to give it a go so around oct i started some tomatoe seeds and cuke seeds well it was a lot of fun it had its challenges and i learned alot along the way i ended up with around 9-10 small cukes and a dozen or so small tomatoes the past few days i have been ending my current grow as the plants are starting to die off but i am calling it a success and for sure am gonna try again in the future thanks for a great video Comment from : @tonyamahurinrhodes3126 |

Kim, I went out yesterday and purchased grow lights and clip-on fixtures and have also ordered a couple 15 watt indoor LED grow lights In the past, I have kept peppers and tomatoes alive over the winter, but they never produced flowers or fruit until going back outside in the Spring I hope this extra lighting will do the trick Will there be a chapter in your new book on indoor gardening? How long do you keep the grow lights on the plants ? A cage is easier to contain than a stake especially indoors with limited space I keep mine trimmed to the size of the cage otherwise the indeterminate plant will have Jack and a giant climbing down it I also have 4 pepper plants indoors that have yielded 22 bell peppers so far This does not include what I have in my very small greenhouse, which is about the size you mentioned in another video you want to put outside in your back yard Comment from : @kennethmoravec148 |

Kim, cool idea with the jug of sand and pvc to mount and adjust the grow light I got my first batch of seeds from MIGardener yesterday, can't wait to see them grow I recently grew a sunflower and when it got tall enough, I staked it with a piece of bamboo from my yard Nearly immediately, the sunflower started dying what looked like blight but the bamboo looked fine The sunflower is now dead and don't want to use bamboo as stakes if its going to kill my plants Any thoughts anyone? I have a pepper plant that I dug up and brought inside It still had a couple peppers on it in the fall The pepper grew to full size and i picked it November 29th The plant is still in the window and is now covered in flowers and i have a few tint peppers growing !!! Comment from : @ingalls73 |
