I would not say that someone who commits suicide by train incident is selfish, that I disagree with, though, I understand the trauma faced by both parties It's a vicious cycle and unfortunately is horrific, for everyone involved

I understand the trauma the train drivers and possibly the other witnesses will have but please don’t call those who end their lives “selfish” cuz nobody knows what people are dealing with and they wouldn’t have done that if they saw another way out Depression is like cancer but the only difference is that people have compassion to those who die from cancer but call a depressed person selfish It’s really saddening

I think you really underestimate what people are going through, if they are seeking death Do you really think that a person capable of taking rational decisions (such as the effect of the act on other peoples' lives) would even consider killing themselves You don't expect from a shot person to run properly right So why the hell are you expecting from a severely depressed person with suicidal thoughts to take rational decisions

Some people should be allowed to commit suicide, what if its their last hope? What if they are suffering ao badly that even death wont help them but they try it anyway, but still makes no difference on how people perceive them Some people should be allowed to commit suicide

Suicide is this saddest way to dieevery fiber of a humans being is designed to preserve their life, so to be able to actually go through with a suicide is mind boggling, you can call it selfish, but i think the real selfishness comes from those that ignore the warning signals they give while still alive desperate for helpi don't think there is a human that has died by suicide that didn't give a signal for help before they went through with itand maybe involving the living during their death was their final chance TO BE SEEN

We have a high rate of theseincidents in the Toronto subway system, and my first thought is always for the poor drivers, as this gentleman said, just trying to do their jobs The self-absorbed, "distressed" suicidals who spare nary a thought for the train operators that they use to commit their acts of annihilation, very rarely cross my mind

It’s not his fault When you are suicidal, it’s virtually impossible for someone to think about the repercussions of ending their own lives They are in so much pain they cannot see any other way out unless there is sufficient actual help So many people are tormented by their demons I’m sorry this man had to witness a suicide while driving the train, but this world needs more understanding and compassion
