Annoyingly, the only thing that works HDMI to DVI on my monitor is my laptop No version of Xbox or Playstation works I just get a message saying no signal :(

Ok I tried using the original ps4 cable and an hdmi to dvi adapter but it didn’t work, I thought the problem was with the resolution but my monitor display is 1920x1080 60hz so it should be perfect for the ps4 so please someone tell me what is the problem here

so, i have an hdmi that came with the ps4 i came across an adapter that is Female HDMI to Male DVI its like a 6" cable would that do the job? if i use the original HDMI and plugged it into the female HDMI of the adapter?
