Thank you so much bruv At first I was wondering what did I do wrong with my setup Turns out I was plugging the power lead of the HDMI switch on the IR slot, and not on the DC 5V slot After slotting it correctly, it works like a charm

I have a 2013 Asus monitor, its 1080p and worked fine with the hdmi up until like last week, when i turn it on i can hear the sound but no video, i tried turning it off and on and plugged the ps4 slim in my tv and it worked fine, so i think my monitor's hdmi port is broken, will this method work on it cuz it has a vga port too and will i be able to use it 1080p with minimum delay/lag?
