i have more than 20 controllers and when it comes to PC modern day gaming the best controller is anything Microsoft you just plug it and play it and if you do run into a problem theirs a xbox360platform app engine made for you to copy and paste it into which ever game folder that the game location is at to make it work properly brevery game platform base controller in most game settings always has xbox controlling platform so if your using a ps4 controller and your buttons are triangle /x /square/ circle the platform gaming controller for most pc games layouts will tell you y / x / a / b / that means it was made for a xbox controller but think about it its microsoft the pc is running on microsoft windows of course its more Microsoft compatibilities for its own marketing bri have every controller you can think of and the most less issue one is the "xbox360" 2nd least problem is xbox one every other controller you need to set up and input other drivers to install and attach to a game i do have a genuine gamecube made for nintendo switch controller that works well on the dolphin emulator but it doesnt work well on other gaming platforms accept only on the dolphin emulator brbrresident evil 4 is meant to be played with a gamecube controller i dont care how many remakes it has or remastered it has the best experience with it is with the gamecube controller brbrbut to save everyone time and money instead of buying 20 controllers or more like what i did best bang buck is xbox360 or xboxone wired controller if you get the wireless you have to buy a adapter for it its not expensive but its a headache theirs videos on people showing you how to do it it will make your room look cleaner but i prefer wired controller , just plug it in and play it

xbox 360 gamepad better than any wireless xbox one updated sucks always disconnects while gaming dont buy wireless always i get that green blinking light this thing is battery hog And not all my games support the xbox one controller the wired one works best and never have issues untill i tried the xbox one controller save some money buy wired there cheap and never need batteries daily like the one does

PlayStation controllers on PC don't always work Sometimes you need to get a program like DS4 to run thembrTheir charging ports also wear quickly so if you use them wired you'll end up disconnecting constantly

Okay Im stuck My pc is custom build and it doesnt have bluetooth I thought to get a xbox one controller but its pricey and uses a microusb port(I thought it had type c) and i hate microusb becuase i have 2 ps4 controllers and broke the ports on both so now i use a dock charger Im not going gamesir because i bought a g4s didnt last 2 years and its dead and i dont recomend them That leaves the 360 controller I found one for €25 unopened

The GameSir PC Controllers are pure cheap junk I know, I have purchased several trying to find the best type, but their isn't any Hundreds of dollars wasted over a couple of years on these cheap units, every few months a broken thumbstick, or broken trigger, or ??? I am switching to iPega or any other brand

Both Ps4 and Xbox one are great controllers theres no doubt about that But for PC use id go evrey day whit xbox One reaseon is that i find it more comfortable for long period gaming sesions Second reason is that games on PC are allready set up by deafult for a xbox controller so you dont need that button remaping fiasco with i allways hate to do

I have Gamesir G3w It's a wonderful controller, and pretty good for it's price, however I can't recommend itbrReason is, the d-pads are very imprecise If you point in any direction (up/down/left/right), even if you're 15 degrees off it will still register as if you are pointing in that exact direction Therefore, you will often just be pointing in a direction on gamepad and it will register entirely different in game, creating many unintuitive moments of frustrationbrAnother thing is analog stick intensity not being 1/1 relation To reach maximum intensity you only need to push analog stick half of the way in direction you want So if you want to fine tune your analog inputs, you have to be much more precise to compensate for this weirdness

The question is if you like gyro aiming You can put in gyro aiming in every game with steam input So if that's the case, ps4 hands down But the xbox one is comfortable But it is very last gen in terms of features It also makes me disappointed that the xbox series x controller is basically the same but with a different dpad No real changes to justify the theoritical higher price tag I'm hoping that it includes a gyroscope, but I tend to not keep my hopes uo with microsoft

It depends on what type of game also for example on PC, for racing games like F1 2019, the Xbox 360 controller is much better than the Xbox one I have them both and in F1 2019 driving with traction control off is much more difficult with the xbox one controller I have the regular wired 360 controller and the Xbox one S controller

I still use my wireless 360 controller on pc I've tried the xbox one controller and the D pad is way better but on the other hand I find the analog sticks feel lighter and offer less resistance, wich is bad for me and I can't make up my mind Eventually I'll probably get the xbox one version but I'm keeping my 360 controller while it lasts (It's about 10 years old now)

I disagree about the xbone controllerbrimo the dpad is actually much better than the ps4 one for fighting games because it has tactile feedback, bralso the asymmetrical design makes it easier for me to play other games because it's more comfortable for me :)brthe only downside is that you have to buy the rachargable kit

I'm not a fan for all xbox like controller, since most games i play use dpad to change item/equipment, so when i use xbox controller my character need to stop walking/running to change the item while for ds like controller i can use my index finger (claw) to press the dpad while still running/walkingbrBut i also like xbox controller if i play game that doesn't use dpad too much since my thumb can relax more with the analog placement on xbox
