If a man shows up, shows he knows we have something special and shows he values that, that is rare and valuable to me Takes care of me in ways I didn't know I needed taking care of Shows up, is present, and asks what I want or what I need Takes the lead but also gets my input Realizes that its not ALL just about him I've certainly made mistakes in the past with my relationships, and I've learned, and am still learning I love my man and he loves me But he is very independent, as I am, which he finds attractive I don't want him to be afraid to loose me but I do want him to 'look after our relationship' like he's afraid to loose it I want to feel valued And right now, I'm not feeling it We are older There is an older parent in our care, and there is no progression in our relationship He's a workaholic The next step would be engagement as we have been together 6 yrs now brI love him to death And I want him to love me to death And maybe he does but I don't see it enough brHe told me if he wasn't happy, he wouldn't be 'here' But I need more from him and he's told me to ask him or tell him what I need Why is asking for what you want soo hard to do Matt?
