Fires of Invention is basically omniscience for 4 mana in the right deck There are common (Merchant of the Vale) and uncommons (Syr Carah) in Red that works very well with it So while it seems bad in a vacuum, it is a very powerful build-around

I do not agree with the Emery on here I've seen her abused on Arena way too often, namely with Wishing Well and the Cauldron that deals 3 damage to a creature Scary recursion

completely agree on fervent champ, if he was 2 mana and lived longer wouldve been good, if he was the same but could target himself that would also be good But he's neither so he's meh
