absolute truth on water borne diseases I got spinal meningitis from flood water Almost died Dont go out walking in or touching flood water bc it's mixed with sewage from the drains And wear a mask bc the sewage spores are airborne

Bottled water is fine for a short while, but you should probably have both a way to filter water and a way to boil water You should add some kind of cord or rope along with some kind of tarp, all of which the type you choose will depend a lot of budget and space A multitool as budget allows, or at minimum a screwdriver and a basic kitchen knife like a 6" chef knife and a cheap pair of pliers Lastly I would add at least once blanket, preferably wool Outside of that I would be getting more food but that's not really within the scope of a video about stuff you can put in a moderate sized box

I have one of those 30,000mAh cell phone batteries with the built-in "solar panel" The battery is great, but don't expect to charge the thing with the solar panel (pad) I left it in full sun for 8 hours and it didn't charge but maybe 3-4 percent I've read and seen other users say the same thing about the "useless" built-in solar cell phone batteries

If you are going to shelter in place get a couple of those 33 gallon trash cans so you can fill them up with water inside your house and get a few big totes place them in your bath tub and fill them up with water you can also save your milk jugs and 2 liter soda bottles and wash them out and fill them with water, stock up on dried beans and rice those 72 hour food kits are too expensive and don't buy those cem lights cause they are a one time use instead get a few of those cheap solar yard lights that you can place in the yard so that the sun can recharge them during the day you also need to good manual can opener and some type of wood burning stove to cook outdoors
