FYI: If anyone is rewatching in 2023 for a refresher; I thought that I would mention that Hostas love tomatoe fertilizer along with magnesium…they work work together to help utilize the nitrogen in Hostas You will get the healthiest looking Hostas and for your really large Hostas water frequently! I also have a slug problem every year here in Seattle so I treat with slug bait

Your channel has become my new guilty pleasure I am now setting up four raised beds in my yard and my deck is littered with flower containers I've made from watching your videos I do have a question about fertilizer though I have a bag of Garden-tone as well as some water soluble Miracle-Gro What is the difference between the two? Can they/should they be used in conjunction with each other the way you mentioned using the two PW fertilizers?

I have a question to ask about side dressing vegetables later in the growing season (about two months after planting transplants) If you put down pine wood chips over the soil to protect them from drying out too much from hot weather, how to you apply the granular fertilizer? Or should I instead find an organic water soluble fertilizer that will go through the wood chips to the plants?

I took a soil sample of my vegetable garden and brought it in to be tested Last fall I fertilized with pen manure from dairy heifers brbrMy ph is 780 , phosphorus 14884 ppm, potassium 57400 ppm and magnesium is 21500 ppm My guess is I’m all set for the year and won’t need to fertilize 😂

My plants look better than ever this season because I have learned so much from your videos I have a couple of questions: Is it possible to use too much fertilizer and if so how would I know? What would over fertilized plants look like? How do I keep my container annuals looking good all summer? I used the garden tone for my vegetable garden and my husky went crazy and somehow got in my garden and ate all the vegetables so I started again and I just worked in the potting mix and planted but when I used the garden tone as a feeder for the garden and she got in again?brWhy does my dog go crazy with the garden tone smell? brPlease help 😩
