FYI: If anyone is rewatching in 2023 for a refresher; I thought that I would mention that Hostas love tomatoe fertilizer along with magnesium…they work work together to help utilize the nitrogen in Hostas You will get the healthiest looking Hostas and for your really large Hostas water frequently! I have a question to ask about side dressing vegetables later in the growing season (about two months after planting transplants) If you put down pine wood chips over the soil to protect them from drying out too much from hot weather, how to you apply the granular fertilizer? I took a soil sample of my vegetable garden and brought it in to be tested Last fall I fertilized with pen manure from dairy heifers brbrMy ph is 780 , phosphorus 14884 ppm, potassium 57400 ppm and magnesium is 21500 ppm My guess is I’m all set for the year and won’t need to fertilize 😂 Comment from : It’s Dairy Nice Here |

My plants look better than ever this season because I have learned so much from your videos I have a couple of questions: Is it possible to use too much fertilizer and if so how would I know? What would over fertilized plants look like? How do I keep my container annuals looking good all summer?
