I live in a small northeastern metro area and currently - shopping isn’t an issue Local stores are only allowing 50-70 shoppers in the store at a time (depending stores square footage) I went this morning at 7AM (only 3 people in front of me) Store was fully stocked: plenty of meat, dairy and other items Stores are limiting certain items like meat and dairy products to 2 per shopper, as well as paper towels and toilet paper I’ve yet to come home without anything on my list I feel badly for folks in large cities who have to line up for hours just to get in the store and face shortages

First step to your safety is to stop watching the news making you paranoid If you go into a store make sure the checker changes gloves between you and the last customer Those gloves create a cross contamination hazard Germs can live on the synthetic material for days, while bare skin is minutes to hours depending on the virus that checker might be passing to you There are far deadlier germs and viruses out there and this haphazard way of dealing with Covid-19 is complicating things Having your groceries delivered is just as contaminating as if you were facing a checker!

I love these two newscasters they are always graceful & serious & good looking to look at ! CBS still has newscasters & anchors who have the news casters's attitudes & characters & dignities more compared to other channels ! They are more like commentators, or worse gossipers ! Here in this one ,they're talking about their groceries, that's totally fine ! I prefer watching CBS than others Fox & CNN are the worst ! CNN used to be the one ! How sad ! We go first thing in the early morning, No lines, only a few people and we have a list No talking to anyone and keep a 6ft distance Wear your mask and gloves and wipe down the grocery cart Don't put your grocery bags on the table or counters and wipe cans I can't see being any safer than that!

I always wash my groceries since this thing started He washes his Doritos, and I washed two bags of popcorn, a load of grapes, a bag of apples, several cans and jars, all in a sink of water with disinfecting dish detergent That is not being paranoid, it's being careful Should I care what my neighbor washes from the store? It's a personal choice Better safe than sorry I do the same with deliveries If I can store it in the back room for a few days, fine If not, it gets washed right now
