I do online purchase for groceries For dry items example shampoo, detergent, etc - I leave the whole box untouched for 1 week before I open it For food like vegetables, I wash them with the detergent brand which I trust, I don't soak them

Dish soap is made for dishes, which we eat from, so I expect it is FDA safe for that purpose So why can't we wash an apple with it, too? And water with a small amount of bleach is used to sterilize drinking water in a pinch As long as your rinse well, I don't see the harm

The video on shopping is in error when they say gloves do not help because they contaminate the next thing you touch, true but so do your hands At least with gloves I can remove them when I am finished shopping as well as all the pathogens I have touched and throw them away, less contaminate on you hands The key is not to tough you face with hands or gloves, I find this easier as I am more aware with gloves Gloves are worn in almost every type of food processing !
