An idea is also set em up to fire either with timers so that by the time the last one fires the first railgun is ready to shoot again, or volley fire

I designed a "revolver cannon" with 4 quickly rotating railguns and sensors that trigger the shots So all 4 shots come in very quick succession and land on exactly the same spot You just have to aim a little to the side because the rotation throws off the aim slightly Haven't tested it in pvp or anything - just a nice "super weapon" in the front of one of my Wh40k ship designs, made to penetrate the massive prow armour of an enemy capital ship closing in

The thing about planetary defense guns is that there really is no size or power limit as you have a near infinite amount of build area and resources
