Wouldn't it be nice if Nikon got together with Adobe, and Capture 1 etc, and brlet them have the specs for the Z9 Raw files, so when the camera goes onbr sale, people will actually go out and buy it, as they will be able to brprocess their photos

Lol tell me does Sony have a 300 28? No they have to use Canons when this Nikon comes out they will have a 400 28 Z So if you want to say Nikon is behind go ahead but they already have a few mirrorless bodies to match Canons And Sony without a 300 28 of their own seems (at least) on par with Nikon yes, Canon is ahead of both but the field is leveling quickly and if rumors are true we could see Nikon back on top or soundly in the race again - just my 002

Jared,brbrDon't miss two other important featuresbr* Mosquito- The Z9 sends an ultra sonic sound to repel mosquitoes ay about 3 m away from the camera If you are a nature/ landscape photographer, you will always have to deal with bugs and mosquitoes So this feature alone will make your photography life a little easierbrbr* If you accidentally drop your camera in the water, the camera's safety bag will deploy and will float up to the surface so that you'll be able to locate your camera

Bought a z6 ii body for 1700$ yesterday idk, af seems to be extremely useable, sure, it may not be as top notch as the canon r6 but I saved almost 1000$ just on the body for a camera that af aside, is quite a beautiful piece of tech that matches or beats the r6 in some areas Plus, the glass is better So yeah the af may not be as good as the r6 or sony a7ivr but it's still extremely useable I can't imagine people aside from professionals making over 100,000$ a year making complete use of 1053 af points

While I get the idea that it's important for Nikon to keep up with the other 2, it's kind of an unfair comparison because in terms of the size of the company, meaning the amount of funds/resources the company has access to, Nikon is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than Canon and Sony, and even smaller than Fuji and Panasonic yet they're expected to keep up tech wise in every aspect to Sony and Canon It reminds me of how people expect Nintendo to keep up with Sony and Microsoft tech-wise when those two corporations are behemoths compared to Nintendo

That's my guess as well, $6500-$7000 But, what I'd like to see in the camera is a direct link to cloud storage the moment you take a pic, as well as storage on the SD cards Or, you could also have a direct link to your NAS (for those lucky enough to own one) and all your pics sent to there when you take them Along with a GPS for tagging your pics

i know 2 people who will EMPHATICALLY disagree that Nikon is behind the rest they were Air Force photographers who cut their teeth with the F3 film camera (well one of them for sure) one is a Nikon Professional, the other is a portratist who is very goodbrbrthey tout all of their shooting with the Z7 since it was released, but i dont see anything that couldnt be done with any other camera system
