How about if you use those big industrial fans & a evaporative air cooler for my 6-7 gpu mining rig?? Would that help?? Comment from : @Bossman_D |
Its that okay for gpu 24/7 using 100 fan ? Comment from : @elvinbon5287 |
I think you'd benefit a lot if you had an actual intake fan and not just open windows Comment from : @leolldankology |
What Thermal pads are the best ? Comment from : @MrGeorgeSmitho |
I’m considering immersion mining (when I get hold of some proper mining equipment) Have you considered that to help solve your heat issues? It would reduce noise significantly as well Comment from : @BSJWright |
How could you tell you need to change the thermal pad ? Could you explain to me I guess my rtx 3090 at some point has 109f almost in vram for almost a week and I don’t know if I should change the pad in side or not ? Plus it’s very sensitive to change them cause you might destroy one by mistake Comment from : @mohammadabzakh7412 |
Maybe I missed it, but how are you bringing (cool) air in? You need to match the outflow of the exhaust fans with an equal amount of inflow Maybe you're just getting it passively from the rest of the house, but this is a very important detail Comment from : @HenryBabcock |
Friendly ReminderbrUncle Doge departs for 50 million again in 4 daysbrWhy?brThey have a fucking billboard in times square NYC for 5 whole daysbrLast chance to get in before the moonbrbrJoin the tg group and see for your self br👀br@uncledogeofficial Comment from : @zephyr8017 |
Hey @Red Panda Mining do you use TeamRedMiner on your 5700 rig? It may help if they are on B mode on TRM to help drop those temps a little bit! Comment from : @Joshh3003 |
I feel your pain One of my rooms can be used used as a sauna Comment from : @opensourcedev22 |
9/5/1/4/6/8/5/0/2/8 some one is impersonating you Comment from : @mcgin4760 |
suggestion: put 2 fans pushing out one window That means remove all the glass panes and cut yourself a plywood board to holf tgem uo and seal around More air going out will bring more cold air in Also, make a shelter around the "IN" window and make sure it never gets under direct sun Comment from : @eatmy888 |
As always, awesome work done I like the new fans addition Your temps are low compared to us who are enjoying tge tropics climate! Comment from : @baobabminer5364 |
You might want to try a different Zil pool On hive doing flexpool/rustpool, I get like minimal invalid shares compared to when I used ezil Comment from : @thomascomps1547 |
Hi can I mine on GT730 4gb Comment from : @jaco6202 |
You don't have a wind tunnel inside your basement The only airflow you have in your basement is the 2 puny exhaust fans You need at least 6 of those BRO ARE YOU SERIOUS ABOUT MINING MAKE SOME DAMN MODIFICATIONS TO YOUR WALL AND ADD MORE EXHAUST Comment from : @Techno4more |
You need airflow IN and OUT of your basement man It doesn't matter if you have 100 fans inside the basement The ONLY fans that are actually doing anything are the exhaust fans C'mon man Use some common sense You don't need ANY fans blowing on the actual rigs if you have proper airflow THROUGH the basement 🤦♂️ Comment from : @Techno4more |
Big fans are useless without cold air is coming in You should build a good air conditioning system in that building My cards instantly droped like 10-12 celsius when 18 C air conditioned air came in Thats an extra cost during summer but we have to balance between less hash rate and less vga lifetime or more cost more hash rate and longer vga lifetime during summer But these big fans definitely doing very little with the cards temp Comment from : @SmartBalance100 |
How is the decibel rating in your mining basement? Comment from : @tunasandwich2610 |
Hey Panda, what do I do with an asus rog rx 5700 xt that crashes all the time? Every other one i have runs fine, just one will not work for mining Comment from : @DodgeThis |
Live to Game 😂 Comment from : @follow_rallo2009 |
Maybe you can modify a door to have two fans installed on it so you can bring more fresh air in Comment from : @yeetsarjn3293 |
Buying a 5 card 3070 rig Saturday Along with a 4 card 1070 rig Going to part out the 1070s and add onto the 3070 rig Comment from : @420 |
Missing the outro music Song was catchy Comment from : @bobbywomack5208 |
A 2 exhaust fan set up can help you!!! Almost like a grow room, fans are nice but mainly only stale air movement without fresh air flow No AC needed either looks like 10×10 room so a 3000 CFM exhaust fan for outlet can suck enough hot air out of room at constant rate Run 1 of each 1 for outlet of hot air in room and 1 for inlet fresh air from outside preferably a shade cool side of your home Hope it helps💪🏾 lol Comment from : @nickyscarfo5388 |
You need some cardboard on those windows to block out the sun Maybe in the winter you can do that but not in the summertime Comment from : @user-si8vp6zy5x |
Love the vid! Noticed you haven’t updated your Hiveos, curious as to why you haven’t yet? Comment from : @vtyranicmc |
maybe you should rearrange the shelves instead of them stacked in the middle of the room maybe you should make aisles of them like 3 aisles allowing the air from the two rooms blowing through the aisles instead of the air crashing into a wall of miners better air circulation theres a reason ur middle section of miners is several degrees hotter than the outter ones Comment from : @ilikeXEN |
been waiting for this video! awesome work as always! Comment from : @mileswheeler9036 |
Hi, What percentage of your profit you reinvest? (Sorry for my english :( Comment from : @kicinder |
Nice 55ghs Comment from : @Master_Smurf |
you could consider immersion cooling with a heat exchanger and heat the house in winter and use an outdoor cooler in summer Comment from : @piotrpiotrowicz9663 |
Totally blaming chumpchange's hangers for the invalid shares Comment from : @MrMine-cl9gk |
What is the max temp recommended? Comment from : @fernandorat |

I had a couple of the large orange Homedepot industrial fans but swapped them out for some dewalt 18” fans and find the performance of the dewalt fans better Comment from : @onlineoffgrid |
Why u dont try to use mineral oil? Comment from : @erlanggasucipto7324 |
How are your RTX 3080s not thermal throttling? Did you replace the pads in some but now all? Also, are you not worried about fan burnout running them at 100? Comment from : @llNATEDOGGll |
So whats it like when it hits 35 40c outside? Comment from : @TheCryptoMiner |
It's smoking hot in your room lmao even with all this fans, i'm glad live in Denmark with low temps brThis must be a hell to fight the heat :L Comment from : @ph7947 |
Soon be time to go liquid cooling Comment from : @Raylep1 |
Hey, Panda - unrelated to temps/airflow: Does your mining basement’s noise perforate upstairs? Is it interruptive to your family?brbrI’m thinking of putting my rigs in our basement, and am curious how the noise is in your home Thank you! Comment from : @DeFiDylan |
Im working something you might like, I’ll update you on the discord when I’m done building it Comment from : @shadowthehedghog100 |
You should be able to squeeze out 2-3 more MH on that 6700xt I have a 5 card rig avreaging about 4750mhs @ 78w - 80w Comment from : @Killer65malibuGaming |

Invalid share paradise! Comment from : @brianobush |
Is it fine when you get just few invalid shares ? I try to overclock until i get no more Thank you :) Comment from : @lidiobraimllari1701 |
So, what do you do when the outside air temp is 115F or higher? For me, AC is not optional Comment from : @ronwatkins5775 |
At what temp would you shut a rig down to not damage it Comment from : @summerypond |
I want to work in your mining form😉 Comment from : @waqaranayat8083 |

wahou, i calculate approximatively 4064 mh/s At this day 367 eth a week and 4461 eth a year just amazing <0 Comment from : @warriorfr78270 |
Seriously dude ??? U have a mining farm and fucking table fan for cooling???brbrEther u r nuts or u r jus nuts Comment from : @anmoltimilsina7181 |
GPU farm design is crucial A one aisle (hot side, cold side) with server cases like octominer or other server cases with 4000-6000rpm fans is the ideal solution for a less maintenance farm build You would not need to worry about summer heat or pointing box fans towards your rig The downside to these setup is the noise of those server case fans Comment from : @cutthecorner7007 |
Bro i am getting 15000 Watts solar plant on my home :D journey begins soon Comment from : @TheMark492 |

How are your ezil payouts looking? A lot of the community in their discord is having issues with the payout on the zil side, including myself Anyways, curious to know how yours is looking too If you have any pull, might see if you can get in touch with them and get a definitive response Thanks! :) Comment from : @CoolWhipppy |
my gpus get in the 60c on the core and 90c on the memory My mining area is also 95f hopefully I can get it going much better real soon We are still really hot outside for now so that is not helping my mining area Comment from : @jtravaglini |
MOAR EXHAUST Seriously though, if you can, consider doubling the exhaust Can turn them down to lower speed if need or speed them up when its hot Not sure if you can open the other sides of those windows and double the exhaust or not thanks for sharing Comment from : @AnonymousMiner2 |
Have to yell over all those dbs Comment from : @bretteinhorn2629 |
Hi, i've a question Sorry about my bad english I'm from spain and i will try not use translatebrbrI've a 3070 EVGA good temps, MAX 72º in Seville, Spain Weather temp outside in street about 40-42ºbrbrMy question is Had you ever burned or some issue with any graphic card?brbrThx a lot Best Regards Comment from : @claudiofly47 |
19 degree Celsius is quite cold for me Comment from : @cyberx6776 |
Love the attitude Bring on the heat, for SCIENCE! Comment from : @bojangles28 |
Have you thought about putting the rigs side by side 2 feet off the back wall all the way down? Yo might need longer pdu to do it, but whatever heat they are making would get sucked out before swirling around in room Comment from : @TechManTY |
😎 Comment from : @cc-- |
nice vidwould you happen to have a spreadsheet showing all your settings and which drivers they use for each gpus type? Comment from : @bam5235 |
I always like to put an intake fan pulling cool air from outside into the room You can just put one at one of the intake windows 🪟 brThat will probably help on the worst days keep everything cool 🥶 Comment from : @brandcoin8159 |
I wonder what's the total watts for all those fans Comment from : @droomagon |
Well it looks like they're doing better but today is July 13th, not the 5th! Are those temps still holding with this everlasting heat wave? brbrIt may be the hottest summer of your life but remember it will be the coolest summer for the rest of your life! Heat waves are now the norm people, when was the last time there wasn't a heat wave in summer months? I can't remember either Fire season starting weeks earlier than usual, smh the world's slowly burning and nobody knows or knows what to do brbrAll I get from that comment of mine, which I wholeheartedly believe, is to say fuck it and mine more! Winter is coming and my baby rig of two 3070's and one 3080 has to heat the house Lmao at the fact miners can do so! Make money and heat your house! Comment from : @mrjonesyyy |
Loved going through the Hiveos stats Do another video showing all settings for each Comment from : @GreatScottTheGamer |
That is correct Ambient temperatures really don't matter as long as you have enough air flow "Why don't you do air conditioning?" All those people Do it yourself and let me know how it goes Comment from : @TekShinji |
oc the radeon 7!!! dont be lazy :D Comment from : @laky1g |
Your farm is so sick You’re gonna be an official warehouse miner soon! Comment from : @BlackBearCrypto |
The thing is, alot of your rigs are at 100 fan speed Ur maxed out, and its only 72 outside Comment from : @rkwjunior2298 |
fix your affiliate link Comment from : @filipmihajlovic8259 |
15kva is equal to 52k BTUs of heatbrOne 5 ton AC unit is good for 60k btusbr5 tons isnt alot Comment from : @rkwjunior2298 |
I survived last summer/fall with 12 ground fans CHEAP! They been running 24/7 at 1st setting Best investment ever! Comment from : @SKORPIOXXL |
Looks like 4800 Mh/s and maybe 12000 watts About $270 daily profit Not bad, not bad Means you were probably up over $500 a couple months ago when mining was super super profitable Comment from : @middleschoolmatt9926 |
Talk about the future of mining please Will mining die? What's happening with Ethereum etc Is it worth it to invest for new miners anymore? Or does it only worth mine if your already up and running and have many ROIs , for years ? New miners how should they see the future?, what will happen to all the youtubers Alot off fear in the community Comment from : @jafyfaen |
Some airflow is better than no airflow, even if it’s warm air Comment from : @Drdrew1234 |
Hi what is the brand of 24 inch barrel fans ? Comment from : @okankalyenci9969 |
What are the measurements of those windows? Height & Width? A/C is not the answer, heat extraction is obviously very important but not the #1 issue The single most important issue is to create a good clean fresh air supply, and to vent the hot air from your cards I would build a wall and draw that air into mining room I created a Mining Cooling Chamber that runs off one 220volt 2 Amp A/C fan motor, it cools 24 GPU's with all the fans removed from the GPU's and the electrical cost is $40 a month Red Panda Mining this same Cooling Chamber is a perfect solution for you Comment from : @havocng |
So you're selling the 2070's right? 20$ a piece? Comment from : @weavy5476 |
