Playstation arrived too late in terms of the triggers, the N64, Dreamcast, Xbox all of them had actual gun-like ergonomic triggers, the PS3's are too mushy and slippery for my taste

I really didn’t like the PS3 controllers, in my opinion they were the worst controllers to ever exist, they were clunky but functional ugly but affordable, sure the trade offs make it better but can’t excuse the quality

Now explain why I will tell you When they first came out with sixaxis they thought vibration (rumble) would interfere with the axis movement But it turns out it doesn't and you can have rumble with sixaxis

After using all generations of PlayStation controllers and every Xbox controller, I still feel like the DualShock 4 is the most ergonomically comfortable controller I have ever held especially for super long gaming sessions It's the perfect size imo (I have medium/average sized hands)

Yep, my fingers kept slipping off the L2 & R2 triggers, so i bought triggers that had curves on them But I had to glue them on in the end because I was so heavy-handed they kept falling off 😄 brI enjoyed playing Lair (PS3) with the Sixaxis It's like to see that remastered Although it is an acquired taste

Honestly for my first console and the fact they had just strayed from buttons for triggers, they were pretty fire I even perfected my controller grip on the DualShock 3 Index fingers on the shoulder buttons, middle fingers on the triggers, and my thumbs are for the joysticks, dpad, and the PlayStation equivalent to abxy (I was not going through the trouble of spelling out each shape lol)

That’s not even the main difference, which wasn’t mentioned The Sixaxis had motion sensing That’s literally why it was called Sixaxis Because it had six axis accelerometer In GTA 4, you could fly a helicopter and steer it into every direction just by moving the controller around You could even make it crash in distinct ways

If you didn't have a rumble pad I wouldn't even wanna play I'd actually do notably worse off the weight it's just to light and it would actually annoy me Also the triggers are the best on ps3 they was good for shooting and driving games but I mean they was easy to flick which I guess to some might be a con but I found that I could legit short bursts shoot with the ps3 pad very easily
