I’m enjoying the bike so far wwwyoutubecom/post/UgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things

Iam not pro bicyclist like the guy on the vid but I’m trying to not break the law of the road but it’s sometimes Impossible to follow the laws of the roads so that why I ask if is it possible for me to just use the edge line instead of being in front of a vehicle my bike is a 24 speed hybrid bike, but I don’t want to be a burden to real drivers in their vehicles, I know vehicles people hate bicyclists and motorcyclists for reason I still can’t understand So I want to avoid annoying anyone with a vehicle and hence I ask if I can just use that edge line instead

Love your videos with the info points and occasional silliness (singing, comments, etc) I wanted to make a couple of suggestions that have made my biking easier and with peace of mind brIn addition to locking it up just as you had suggested, I also detach the front wheel and lock it into that 'triangle', as well brbrI also wanted to mention a trick I've used to speed up waiting at traffic lights If you stop over the sensor in the road (usually a black groove filled in with tar in a rectangle, circle, etc) with your wheels on one side of it, tip your bike over almost to a point of laying it DOWN ACROSS the sensor, it will trip the light and get you moving quicker sooner It's basically a magnet that recognizes your bike as a car This trick also works at fast-food drive-thru's!!! 😂😂

In my state, if you're 13 or older, you have to use your bicycle on the road which is insane to me There are no bike lanes, and you are legally supposed to stay as far right "as possible", which basically invites all motor vehicles to aggressively pass you without much room It's too scary for me I'd bike on sidewalks, but that's illegal

I used to ride my bike 🚳 n the highway to work 249 Miles each way only took about two and a half hours on the days I felt beat from the days before got run off the highway several times snapped 3 handlebars clean off lost entire wheels due to how badly they got bent hell I've had a few frames bend up from hitting the devider or just plan getting ran over had to stop riding when my knee blew out got to the size of a melon

Some roads have drains on side of road and bike tire will fall into and cause bike to flip over forward they should have metal crossover the other way to prevent that from happening

Great tips in this video I try to avoid the major thru roads (even some that are speed limit 25mph) because my single speed is geared so low I spin out at like 14-17mph I will still take them for short distances or if i have no choice I find the unprotected bike lanes more dangerous than regular residential roads and multi-use trails Bike lanes end abruptly, often have things parked in them, commonly have potholes and debris, risk of dooring, and cars get uncomfortably close to me A new rider riding in the middle of one of these with no helmet scares me
