My first build was a shitbox with a ATI Radeon HD 5770 with a crappy stock fan That thing ran at 93-95'C for hours when I game with 125 watts of power draw, only had a thermal cutoff maybe a few times a year After 8 years with it I put it in open-air storage inside a damp garage, Canadian winter and all I took it out this year to recover the hard drive, and the thing along with the GPU is still running after 12 years of abuse and neglect

I have a 7800xt which touches avg 60-65 degrees temps in gaming, I want to know if use dual monitor setup for trading not gaming still its going to touch such temperatures or it will have idle temperatures?

Jay, there is RTX demo from Crytek you can put on loop and it is called Neon Noir Raytracing Benchmark Also 3D Mark Port Royal will do just fine in my opinion

The rx 6400 by XFX is terrible it thermal throttles badly reaching 105 degrees so now I'm trying to figure out how to cool it because it's in a SFF BUILD

Please 🙏 🙏 🙏 do a similar video on RAM! Little talked about and known fact about memory chips is that some chip dies begin to go unstable at 50C Many PC crashes are caused by GPU heat saturating the DIMMs right above

i have dual 3090 setup and in Octane Bench, 1 of the gpus hits 87c and stays there and other gpu sits around 70-73 Should i be worried? can 87c damage my gpu? Keep in mind once again, this only hits 87c under 100 utilization on both gpus, so it probably will keep hitting 87c each time i put a render on and leave it for hours On idle they are completely fine sitting at 30c

Card's overheating will make GPU degradate faster Meaning that your GPU could last for 15 years but because of overheating and high temperatures your GPU or other component will die in 6 years

The damage doesn't happen instantly, it happens over time from overclocking Electromigration It's particularly a problem for overclocking memory

So is it ok if my tempts are good but my GPU is working between 90 and 100 Or should I lower my settings so that my gpu load is lower Some games run on high settings at 65 while other to run on high gets my gpu to be at around 95

Not sure when msi afterburner introduced automatic profiles management, but that is what I am using instead of the 'apply at startup' button I assigned my oc profile to 3D apps and that makes the profile kick in when I launch a game So at boot up it's always at stock performance and it stays that way until it's time for me to game

Just bought a sapphire RX6600, and upon stress testing after installation and seeing the temps, I did some reaearch and found that the sapphire version is the second hottest running 6600 on the market lmao although after watching this, I think I can game without worry of my gpu melting away :)

my 3060 ti got up to 96c and clocked down to 1440mhz and didnt crash my computer so maybe 98 is max i think the GDDR6 once its up to 125c you will start to do damage

I'm having an issue when overclocking my Evga 2060 xc Ultra My temp is rising instantly when i'm stress testing it with full power and the fan speeds at 70 I quickly gain up to 87 degrees Celsius without even touching anything except for the power limit My first question is, is this an issue and should i just restore everything to default or is it all fine to continue overclocking? And second of all could it be that i have a to small chassi for the air to move around and keep my GPU cool?

I got an old 880 GTS 512MB card off ebay for $30 shipped for my old 2008 era Windows XP gaming PC The card straight from ebay ran at 70C idle and was a potato I took it apart, blew all the dust out of the heatsink, replaced the thermal paste, and it dropped to 40C idlebrbrHuzzah, now to load Crysis on this PC and party like it's 2008
