I've been trading for months without using stop loss I don't understand it at all If I purchase at $10 and it drops to $7 "STOP" my damn losses and get me out at $7 Limit set at $10 Stop Loss set at $7 I keep getting warnings that my stop price is at or below current bid I've read investopedia, watched so many hours of stop loss videos and still don't understand All I know is that it never works for me I manually sell my trades when they reach my "Stop loss" Any advice

When I try to set up a stop loss on robinhood it keeps saying low so price On my a spy put at 86 I set up stop loss for 80 and limit price off 77 When I submit it says low stop price It says since it’s below bid price it will trigger an automatic sale I don’t want an auto sale Last time this prompt showed and sold my contract immediately What am I doing wrong?

how to set a stop loss for option premium according to the underling stock? ie I want to sell when the stock goes down $5 and how to figure out what premium is correlating to that $5 drop?? cuz you can't set $5 stop loss for any premium, the premiums only a few cents or couple of dollars hope to hear from you, thanks

Is it possible to set the price at a higher price? Example, I have some long calls out to 2024 and if the price spikes while I’m not paying attention I could lose out on profits If I have an “auto sell” set I would t have to worry about missing out…

Great video, great contents! Except for the Robinhood part Robinhood is not good for trading options Robinhood is not good for day traders either because it doesn't allow traders to enter option contracts with OCO bracket orders Furthermore, Robinhood does not allow traders to set a stop loss on an option contract using "market order type" I hope they introduce it sooner than later But for now, they don't have it
