you are a freaking genius I was driving myself absolutely crazy my gf gave me her Samsung TV from 2016 and I couldn’t stream anything aside from Amazon Prime, You tube and Netflix I’m definitely getting the Roku I was trying to download Hulu, Paramount, Discovery, Apple TV and they don’t even support these apps, ridiculous

I think you mentioned getting into the weeds and I hope you are talking about the couple of poorly made instructional videos on how to work around Samsung choices and how you can still add the apps that you want by going through some technical steps; which I have NOT figured out brbrEverything I've watched so far is terribly made I need slowed down step by step and the screens better look like mine It is very sad and makes one very angry that Samsung has chosen to not allow Apple app store or Google app store Why in the world would a Company think they could do better for the consumer by producing their own app store Idiots

Hi Michael The paramount app on my smart tv disappeared sometime in the last 3 months I was there before, I used it without issue and now it is gone I used the search function you suggested to find it, it was not found I did a hard reset of the tv and tried again, no luck Further things I should try?

Do not believe most people want to connect a separate device to their TV, most would want it on the TV so only ONE remote is needed My 13 year old Sony "smartTV" turned dumb about three or four years ago when Amazon and Netlix decided not to keep the apps up That forced me into a Roku Not knocking ROKU it basically save the TV from a quick trip to the dump which would have been a shame since that TV still produces a fantastic 1080 picture And due to that fact, I researched and my next two Sony TVs are Android brSo most would prefer to connect a ROKU or other device to keep their TV showing services not offered, but certainly not from day onebrbrHas anyone tried to "sideload" apps on a TV? I bought a Samsung 65 OLED TV in Feb 2023 @£2000, it went black in 3 months , after a heated debate and distress Samsung finally sent their local technician and they replaced motherboard and display screen(cost £1330) but no apps getting now(Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC apps, youtube , alexa, picture blurred with grain, no Dolby but sound gone I think they replaced all sound card and fitted with old version of motherboard and screen?! please advise me as Samsung sounds like they want to wash their hands saying excuses I am seeking legal action via court please advise me what happened to my TV why no quality of picture and sound also apps gone now

i have an few yr old android sony tv and have had zero problems getting any apps this samsung tv is terrible the remote is hard to see and work who does not have the hbo max app on a smart tv or at least have updated to be able to get it i have all LG appliances and have heard that samsung has problems in that arena as well glad i bought that sony

Wow! I had Hulu in my Samsung but out of the blue the app disappeared, don't have it anymore and it's not in the app menu, No more Samsung for me!! Same happened with my Samsung bluray, it just stop playing blue ray discs!, did some research and looks like they were set or programmed to stop working within a few years!!
