Every other source I’ve read says variegated plants need more sun because they have less chlorophyll I don’t have a variegated rubber plant, but have a few variegated crotons They turn all green if they get less sun or during the winter Comment from : Corrie Wells |

Hello I bought my rubber tree 3 weeks ago and I'm fighting the urge to water it She feels dry even if I stick my finger in deep, my moisture meter reads at a level 10 as soon as it gets down into the 12" growing pot brI have three 24" tall rubber trees in a 12" growing pot and I think about watering her everyday, is there any way I can tell when it's time? Maybe when the meter reads 5? I recently received a clipping of a rubber plant with barely sprouting roots I have it in room temp filtered water with a drop of SuperThrive I forgot about these liking fully sun and just moved it to a direct window location I hope the little guy fights to grow He had one new leaf budding when I got him but we'll see Comment from : MsButtaSoulFly |

Took on a sickly variegated rubber tree that’s 28 inches tall Was sitting in soaked heavy soil Seemed like there was some fungal stuff going on Maybe some mealy bugs So it was quite an overhaul I thoroughly cleaned the soil away from the roots and gave it new soil and new pot Also cleaned the foliage We shall see how it goes Comment from : Shook Homemade |

Hi I have a burgundy rubber plant and need some help I typically bottom water when the soil is dry and I have never had any problems with my plant I recently lifted it up and saw that there was mold around the base of the plant so I decided to repotted and fresh sterilized soil And I sprayed the roots and some of the remaining soil that I couldn't get off without damaging the plant with neem oil The leaves are now drooping and beginning to turn yellow this is the first time since I've had this that I'm losing leaves and it's drooping and I'm not sure what to do Comment from : beginning2beautify |

sooo i have the burgundy rubber plant , he's in a south facing window and has been pushing growth like crazy since the day i got him buuuut, a good like 30-40 of his lower leaves are all reaaaaallly tiny i'm in canada so lots of gloomy days, is it insufficient lighting ? how can i encourage them to grow more evenly sized ? It was very useful!brI have a questiong though: I have a regular green rubber plant and the leaves have started to droop down (without falling off the plant completly!) and I can't figure out what the problem is I tried different location in the room to try different type of light but it doesn't change a thing and I think the wattering is ok but now I'm wondering if that could be caused by the water ? It's usually room temperature though And the thing is that the plant seems healthy all things considered, they're even new growth at the top so I don't know, maybe you'd have some tips for that ?
