My new 3090 Ichill x4 lowers hashrate after 5 minutes from 100 to 75 When I see the kryptex interface, I see it pauses mining for a sec and restarts and reduces hashrate to 75 and continue to stay at 75Mhz No clue why this happens Comment from : Kumar t |

My RTX 3090 118MH/s at 295Watt or 123MH/s at 320Watt GPU Clock you need to keep low as 1140MHz at 0731V mem as high as possible brAnd do not forget about Voltage Curve in MSI Afterburner to keep voltage constant at 0731V Comment from : Benedykt Kotertzky |

I’ve got two gaming rigs with 3090s One is running 1100 on memory clock and is producing 115mh/s at 51 degrees C Second rig is actually an Alienware r10 and it’s at 1200 on the memory clock and it’s cranking out 120 mh/s at only 49 degrees C Both have the core clock set to -150 and with a power limit between 83 - 88 Are you saying it’s not safe to mine 24/7 with those settings on a 3090 card ?brbrMy performance is stable so far but I certainly don’t want to burn these cards up! Thanks for any advice ! Comment from : James Hamilton |

This is a great video I'm experiencing the same issues I have 5 3090s and they were all doing 122 or 120 and one morning the system was offline I started it back up and ran it with the same issues that you're having now I can't overclock the memory more than 800 or 900 and I have to sit at about 110 or so The funny thing too is that sometimes three cards will be at 117 and the other three in no particular order will be at 90 or 98 It is frustrating and look forward to a new video with some solutions to this issue Comment from : Steve Langston |
|
waho hold up here you seem to be confused what X1 is prompting you to update is NOT the gpu bios its the MCU firmware for the rgb and fan controller and has nothing todo with core or mem clocks the mcu firmware and gpu vbios are separate things Comment from : Robert Crane |

Any updates on the 3090 power reduction working? Comment from : Ricas Pinto |

Maybe somebody could help me with this I have a zotac Trinity 3090 and a EVGA 3080 ftw 3 ultra The both are mining on nice hash Each of them set on low power settings in nice hashthe 3090 is only getting 6465 MH and the 3080 is getting 8656 MH With the same settings why is the 3080 outperforming the 3090? Shouldn't the 3090 be blowing the 3080 out of the water? Comment from : Kevin Mccrea |
|
This video is obsolete it Is now well known that the main limit of this card is thermal throttling from memory modules It is not about maximum overclock Comment from : Ericorg |

Alrighty, coming from an eth miner on this exact card I have a lot to update people on in here! First, learn how to use precision software before making videos BOOST LOCK is a feature that locks the speed of both memory and core 2nd there is a switch on the gpu board on the side that goes between normal bios and OC bios make sure its on OC 3rd is that EVGA has released a beta bios for 500w! I have that it increases the power oc to 119! 4th is that you must have the voltage slider all the way to 1000 as it solves the memory crashing issues 5th is you must have your fans much fasterall leds turned off leds are wasted watts the settings i have are 1650 oc on memory, 100mhz on core and fan speeds at 100 this gets me a locked 130mh/s you should really monitor your temps on all chips using icx if those vfds get too hot your card will crash theres one more thing I wanted to say but i forgot lol Comment from : Andrew Martino |

Hopefully someone can answer this you mentioned in the video about the power cable for the riser on the 3090 There are a bunch of pcie Riser sets for sale on Amazon and they have the 6-pin power but the other side goes to a 15-pin SATA Is that what you are talkin about to safely power it? Or is there a different type of cable I should be looking for safety reasons? Comment from : erickwalker11 |

Is this an EVGA card? I have noticed strange behaviour on my EVGA cards - 3060 ti and 3070 that is similar to this I have Gainward 3060 ti that is 2 times cooler and have better-overclocking headroom than EVGA I feel EVGA cards hit the thermal limit of the memory somehow and start throttling so they limit themselves to 60 MH/s while Gainward ones hit 625 MH/s without issues Comment from : Boyan Zhelyazkov |
|
On my country rtx3080 is out of stock until April, the only on stock is the rtx3090 but costing about 1900$, is worth to buy it for mining? Or better wait to April for the rtx 3080 Thanks! Comment from : CriptoBoom! |
