I have this game on both PC and PS4 and the entire geothermal valley area just looks bland and washed out on the PS4 pro Maybe even slightly fuzzy or blurry in places

Incredible to get these results from a reasonably priced PS4 Pro Only problem is that everything just looks really soft, and that sucks But I guess it's a biproduct of checkerboard rendering Still, I imagine it looks better than 1080p overall, maybe with a sort of blurred "FXAA" look, which I sort of dislike BUT, at the pricepoint, the PS4 Pro has my respect for sure

A $400 machine vs a gaming PC that you would have to pay over $1,000 for Obviously the PC on the highest settings will look a little bit better But still, for a $400 machine, the PS4 is very impressive and performs almost as good

I hate PC gamers Why? It's not a comparison if the PC COST 10 TIMES as much Seriously, anything less than a gtx 1080 would struggle to keep up with the ps4, and that graphics card alone cost as much as the ps4 So I find it extremely dishonest of ALL pc gamers to constantly neglect that FACT! I honestly dont see the use of these kind of videos Sure, they're nice to get an idea of what a PS4 Pro can do But at the end of the day, Sony still has to use dated hardware to stamp into a machine that roughly fits under your tv and isn't extremely expensive And they earn credit for that But really, stop pretending like consoles can ever outperform pc's PC's have so much more going for them that the comparison itself is not even fair And the people that buy a PS4 and a PC are just different in general but good video

Watching this video on a 144hz monitor at 2160p, PC is much,much, MUCH better looking than ps4 - for obvious reasons PS4 does not have a 1070gtx

Of course most people who are playing this even at 4K 60fps on PC will still be using the High textures rather than Very High because at that resolution it needs more than 8GB vram, or at least more memory bandwidth than the GTX 1080 has to offer

the wall and mud at 2:58 and the view below and out to the mountains shortly after pretty much sums up the story here it's more blurry, lacks some of the detail, and the textures don't pop like they do on PC at a native 4k the ps4 pro looks excellent for a console tho

PS4 uses OpenGL which tends to be blurrier than Direct X11 or X12 XboxOne uses Direct X and despite it being less powerful than the original PS4, alot of times multiplatform games looked a little crisper on XboxOne than on PS4 Remember Battlefield 4, it ran at 900p on PS4 and 720p on XboxOne but still the XboxOne version looked a little sharper despite its lower resolution

I am a avid PC Master Racer, But i feel bad for consoles users cause sony is lying to the console users by the "4K" tag, Wat you see is 4k is actually 1k, The graphic card is Downsampling the actualy texture and meshes to 1080P by retaining some color code information which giving u false feeling like 4k, console is cool but sony is playing dirty with the fans its an actual rip off if u really own a 4k TV you will be amazed how horrible it looks in comparison to a actual 4k texture
