you literally just described everything I do in career mode I just finished my fourth season with Wrexham (first in the prem) and won the 2026 world cup with the USbrbr(career mode is all I play)

I think player form is really important in having a realistic career mode If a player just isn’t performing, put him on the bench for another player even if they are lower rated and start playing him again if he starts performing

When I move teams, I tend to pick up players from my last teams Often a favourite player or youth product I've developed for a year but wouldn't easily get into the starting 11 It keeps a sense of continuity while refreshing the challenge

To keep my saves fresh, if a player asks for a release clause I always accept so eventually down the line when a team pays the release clause, even if it’s my best, most cherished player with no back up, I still let them go

Career mode is always broken to start with, I'd wait for a few months until EA have found a title update that works Don't start a main career save just yet Hair is currently broken, sharpness and there are glitches when running etc

personally i love italian football so i started cagliari career mode and use 5-3-2 and my play style is very defensive with wing backs that are crucial in counter attacks , and focusing on striker with great aerial threat , my goal is to become a top 10 team in serie A in 5 seasons and rivaling napoli😄

Search for players from countries you wouldn’t normally consider I recently transferred in players from Bhutan and Afghanistan They’re actually pretty decent players Buying in players from every country listed in Fifa 22/23 could actually take a whole career mode Admittedly, you might have to start with a lower league team to make some transfers from really obscure countries to work As you grow the team, you can start to look are more traditional countries like France, spain, Germany, Italy, England for recruitment options, if you need to

My first tip is no transfers first window Use strict transfer rules too it can keep things more interesting Oh and for me I never ever like to be an elite team in a league I'm a spurs fan and I won't do a serious one with them as they are too easy I would also suggest be realistic with your difficulty setting If you are winning everything with a team that just shouldn't up the difficulty
