There's no blueberry koiit's call marble,which is the genetic from bluerimthe blue pigment got unstable and it apper randomly on the body Bluerim came from the butterfly colour category If you want high percent chance of surviving fry's,it just need 1 inch and half of water height this are approved by Thailand/indo/malaysia breeders even the wild betta (imbellis) build a nest in 1 inch height of water microworm is the least option when you doesn't have any other foodit can cause the lose of ventralbeen there,done that and a whole lot of experiment

I think the father was doing a great job THAT was a lot of work The water level seemed too high and made him have to work harder to go to the bottom to pick up the eggs More water can be gently added after the babies are hatched Plus, his long fins slow his movement more He was working so hard Good filming! I've been successful with a liquid fry food, sorry don't know the brand nameI don't feed live food at all, frozen at times and I find that they glow to accept high protein flake When I fed live food the people I sell to find themhard for them to care for My bettas take flake and do well Colour up great too

Please feed them daphnia or bbs(artemia) more oftenbrI usually feed them 1 table spoon of daphnia every morning and afternoonbrAfter they 2 weeks old start feed them tubufex(A lot of tubifex) or a lot of daphnia(after 2 weeks baby betta need at least 30gram of daphnia a day)

The longfin koi is not a terrible bubblenest builder He was struggling at first but that was your fault The water was too deep, he had a long way to go to pick the eggs up and by the the time he got back, more had fallen all the way to the bottom You try swimming to the bottom of a swimming pool in a wedding dress over and over, and you'll get some idea of how he feels

You did everything correct but I recommend lowering the water to atleast 3-5 inches, just so that halfmoon male would have an easier time picking up the fry With halfmoons they tend to swim a lot slower since they are bigger and not as strong If you're feeding microworms I also recommend not feeding so much, but I'm not sure, people say they lose ventral fins but I haven't experienced any problems with mircoworms The reason why I don't feed microworms that much is because they have no nutritional value, I only feed when I run out of baby brine shrimp Hope it goes well keep us updated

I have seen one successful instance of a surrogate father betta, when you switch out a poor caring father for one you know does his job well It would be interesting to try this once you find a really hard working male!
