🤦♂️ this could easily crack your die and make your card a brick worth pretty much nothing, do not do this, I see no reason to ever do this Most coolers are already nickel plated copper, this is a bad idea Even if it didn’t crack the die, these copper plates, if not the perfect thickness, or if the cooler is not tightened down perfectly even, can break soldier joints in memory modules or the GPU core At best, this mod is a risk, if you can’t afford to liquid cool your card, you probably can’t afford to have it repaired or replaced Comment from : False Prophet |

actaully the design of this heatsink and the fact that their using 2mm pads for the GDDR6 means a Copper od for the Memory would be much much more easy and effective and a actaul liquid metal mode for the core more effective !!!! Comment from : Epic Gaming Ect |

There seems to be a problem with the heatsink's ability to absorb heat and the makeshift IHS is solving that, which is a huge engineering fuckup on MSI's part Remember how direct die cooling is far superior than IHS cooling? Well, it still is, it's just that MSI sucks on this occasionbrbrI'd say use LM if that was not a cheap as fuck heatsink that has Al in contact with the silicon Using LM between the silicon and redneck IHS would have yielded a couple degrees better thermals but what would be the point of thatbrbrI cannot sress MSI's collosal fuck up here enough Comment from : Ahmet Refik Eryilmaz |

could you do some safe mods with liquid metal on gpus , i have seen some examples , but diferently from the cpus its harder to use liquid metal on gpus because you can easly damage it , if you would have the possibility to elaborate some experiments would be amazing , nice videos , best regards Comment from : Constantin Ciocalau |
