Semi permanent pastel purple won't turn darker the longer it sits it will always be pastel Even permanent and demi permanent (dyes that use developr or processing solutions) only will deposit so much pigment before they stop otherwise a lot of this is fairly accurate- except some purples can fade more pink than silver/grey and if you just put purple over a previous color like red that will change how it fades as well, because the old color is still under there 😅

Purple does nottt work on dark hair It only looks like that in the sun so after you do the dye job youre going to see nothing in the indoor lightning Waste of time

Sometimes purple (lavander at least cuz that’s the one I tried) can also kinda separate into a bit of blue which can turn green-ish on yellower hair

I have dark purple hair right now and I love it! I didnt bleach my hair because I don't want to damage my curls, so I just dye it on my light brown hair and it turns out great It fades really well too when you dont bleach it from my experience I've used three different kinds of dye, and they always fade really nicely into my natural hair

and you've got to love purple so much, that you not only want it to stain all of your towels and bedding, but your clothes too - that is unless you never sweat or swim or get caught in the rain, in which case you'd be just fine! Signed, a purple-haired girl ;)

I have used four different brands of purple to test out as many as I can and not once have I ever had them fade to gray They usually mix with the bleach blonde strands and fade to a light brown with a purple tint My favorite was Splat Tanzanite with got2b bleach that faded to rose gold hair

I have dark purple hair right now but have done pastel in the past and here are some tricks! br- Purple and yellow are opposite on the color wheel so if you’re going for a darker shade don’t worry if your bleached hair looks really yelllow, it will cancel out!br- If you go pastel, make sure to use a toner and get your hair as white as possible, that way purple will fade to pink! br- If you go for a cool toned purple it will fade to grey, but warmer toned or just mix some pink in will fade pink which imo looks cuterbr- Mix lots of conditioner and a little bit of hair dye to get the pastel dyebrbrHope this helps
