I ran smoothly for three months until I experienced discomfort in my right knee To alleviate this issue, I took a break for 2-3 weeks and engaged in alternative exercises like burpees However, the pain resurfaced after running for 30-40 minutes, only 15 minutes into my run I now realize that not purchasing proper running shoes was a mistake; I used my regular walking shoes instead Two months later, I switched to sport shoes, but they weren't designed for running This may have caused the knee pain Additionally, I heard that combining running with stairs may not be advisable In my running route near my house, there were about 4-5 stairs, and I would go up and down them 4-5 times whenever I encountered them Could this have been the cause of the problem? Also, could it be related to stretches or warm-ups? I never did warm-ups and only occasionally did stretches People say light stretches, but I'm unsure what "light" means, so I just do some random stretches The first time the pain appeared, I tried to push through it and kept running for almost 5 minutes, including the stairs, which may have made it worse I hope this isn't a permanent injury Do you have any suggestions or advice? About the last point, you are are right, but, in my opinion, it's the mind that keeps bugging me to stop, while my body stays with me I've felt that as long as I can keep telling my mind to just shut up and watch like a well-behaved spectator, my body will follow through with whatever I ask of it (it also has it's limits though, so anything crazy is off the table of course) That goes for other physical tasks as well Even sitting for long hours on a desk becomes challenging sometimes Comment from : @mehulkumar749 |

Actual tip - have a shin guard or high socks if you’re feeling shin pain It can happen It will take time for joints etc to get stronger, shin splints hurts very bad and recover verrrrryyyy slow Comment from : @catsensei8322 |

My issue is that I get extreme hip pain when I run Or rather, even after a long walk or light jog I tried jogging a few years back but could barely stand the next day 😬 That kind of put me off But my friends have asked me to join them for a race this summer and I’m determined to make it!
