@nikmills
What about two-part bipods - separate legs, one on each side?
Comment from : @nikmills

@Wonderwhoopin
Airsoft and air rifles have better bipods

Thank you; well done

@theaccountant5133
I seem to be hearing that Atlas is the best and Harris was okay but not now Sometimes I think the military adopting a new piece of equipment depends on whose pockets are lined and how much lining was put into those pockets It happens all the time and I believe I am hearing another instance of pocket lining here Thanks for the sales spiel?
Comment from : @theaccountant5133

@oldmanpatriot1490
Its beat into our heads from day one not to cant your rifle So lets build it into our bipod and call it tilt

Is this cigma male chael sonnen?
Comment from : @Forumrida38621

@flooid5506
I just bought an atlas But one thing I miss about the Harris bipod That I was issued is the speed of deployment We used to tie a piece of paracord from one leg of the Harris to the other so if you pull one leg down the other follows You need to individually press the buttons to deploy the atlas
Comment from : @flooid5506

@DLN-ix6vf
i'm new to range shooting and bought a used Atlas BT10 V8 bipod and placed it on my Remington 223 and took it to the range It only took me 3 min to figure out the legs spun and the rifle would not sit still brDoesn't B&T have a R&D department and if they do they should fire everyone and employ the services of the US military I'm sure the military would have figured out that problem faster than I did brThe V8 is a rip off !
Comment from : @DLN-ix6vf

@markmillward7670
THanks, so i guess my next question will be is there an over barrel Bipod in the works?
Comment from : @markmillward7670

@markmillward7670

Comment from : @josaking717

@KrisSays
Why not just fast forward to a tri-pod? Thanks for helping educate the shooting community!
Comment from : @KrisSays

@madsloper

Comment from : @delta3sigma

Comment from : @hans-juergentroeh9163

@farmerjoe338
Atlas Bipods are good but not 300 - 400 dollars good by no means At this price point they become a good old American screwing
Comment from : @farmerjoe338

@ericb4358
I have an Atlas bipod and CTK monopod on my 65 CM Ruger Precision Rifle With them, off a shooting mat I can shoot every bit as good as I can off my bench rest gear With 140 gr Hornady ELD-M ammo I can consistently get 1/2" at 100 yards using a Bushnell ERS 35 - 21 x 50 scope W/ H59 reticle In PRS competition the H59 reticle is a Godsend B/C I do not have to run my turrets and sometimes forget to re-zero after a course of fire
Comment from : @ericb4358

@xmarksthespotmarksmanship2730
Great video not knocking your knowledge brother im sure youre a bad ass, but i have cheap caldwell bipods on all my rifles and honestly for a cheap product its worked great

Very good presentation I learned a number of important differences
Comment from : @chrissynowiez6858

@loyal2no146
I have an Atlas bipod (new version) and it's great, however extending/shortening the feet is a pain in the neck and I wish I'd gone with a Harris for that reason alone
Comment from : @loyal2no146

@shanevmax34
I have two atlas bipods, but this is nothing more than a commercial for atlas There's nothing about the "Evolution" of bipods You compared a Harris to an Atlas Whoopidy doo da
Comment from : @shanevmax34

@tony55752
Did he say "guns"? Very pretty hair Good Video Very informative
Comment from : @tony55752

@xxshooterxxdm
This is like a sales pitch for atlas bipods
Comment from : @xxshooterxxdm

@jpenna1976
I know Atlas is probably the best option, but is that new Magpul bipod viable option for 308 precision rifle (Tikka T3 Varmint with MDT ESS chassis)?brThere is significant price difference after all :)
Comment from : @jpenna1976

@jeremymenning56

Comment from : @queensryche230

@Cesair4eVo1
The best one missesbrI mean the "hanging"- bipod of the DSG-1
Comment from : @Cesair4eVo1

@zeedevil4409
Doesn’t the width make it even tougher for snagging on everything
Comment from : @zeedevil4409

@rout9291
Like the non rotating legs I hate when mine rolls under heavy loading
Comment from : @rout9291

@firebladeflow
next gen is made in germany, 12o'clock mount, centers the rifle by gravity, it basically hangs in the bipod check "fortmeier"
Comment from : @firebladeflow

@Marathras
Good Video! using the 5H on my Sako TRG M10 in 338, works perfectly
Comment from : @Marathras

love this guy, he reminds me of a young christopher walken
Comment from : @j0ey96

@justinflores9251
thanks
Comment from : @justinflores9251

@Five0Music
Interesting how cost always comes in replies with the 5H If your job is protecting personnel, you get the right item It’s silly to discuss $300 difference on a $3-8K weapon system The bipod is a minimal cost, comparatively, and not a place to skimp on such a mission-critical instrument Thanks for a very clear and to-the-point video on these bipods Great job
Comment from : @Five0Music

@keenanwalker6597
I think it's atlas that now makes the bi pod for the mlok system that's 2 separate legs that attach to each side of your handgaurd
Comment from : @keenanwalker6597

@StonnieDennis
Thanks!
Comment from : @StonnieDennis

@bugaljuice

Comment from : @aleksfoxtrot8044

@jhibbert6627
But can they be attached to your knife?
Comment from : @jhibbert6627

@agentorange3698
Should have called it the modern evolution of bi pods I thought you would go all the way back to the crossed shooting sticks
Comment from : @agentorange3698

@hindsight2022
is that a FN BALLISTA in a SC chassis or McMillan
Comment from : @hindsight2022

@MegaBeartrap
Given it's already telescopic, you would think you could panic press either leg's retracting handle and use it as a telescopic baton for CQB and hunting predator ambush In addition - a multi-arm, spring-loaded dual bayonet for impaling combatants and bears It's not tactical enough for me!
Comment from : @MegaBeartrap

@royjennison3916
great commercial you must be on his pay roll
Comment from : @royjennison3916

@homicidedesigna5161
Make a video on the bipod knife
Comment from : @homicidedesigna5161

Comment from : @scroonie

@CPK15
It's refreshing to have non BS non "tacticool" non "I took a carbine class one time so now I'm an expert" guy on YouTube providing excellent content Thank you Karl!
Comment from : @CPK15

@jakedubois735
Who makes the bipod that's in the thumbnail?
Comment from : @jakedubois735

@ParaSniper2504

Great review Thanks
Comment from : @808Stevie

@bigred06100
Digging that 5H
Comment from : @bigred06100

@mechanizedape2998
Good video but it feels like an infomercial for these bipods rather than an educational video about the evolution of the bipod, as the title of the video indicates Do you guys sell these?
Comment from : @mechanizedape2998

@crazyvulcanman
Is there a way to mount these bipods to a stud instead of rails?
Comment from : @crazyvulcanman

@RUFFRYDERZ695
Can you make a video on how to zero in yours optic and iron sights ? Could really use some real knowledge in this area
Comment from : @RUFFRYDERZ695

@fjamato
Excellent video I'd rather have "dull" and "knowledge based" videos any time This way when the time for excitement comes in real lifeI'm ready
Comment from : @fjamato

@M4A1MG42
Is the V8 the one with legs that would "walk" forward?
Comment from : @M4A1MG42
