Right on I got a few bubble levels on things but im not to worried about angle finders my mildot master or phone can give me that or range finder brTo be honest here I don't get to wound up on things inside 800-1000 yds other than good shooting fundamentals and a good shooting platform for the gun and my firing solutions Comment from : Erik Mckay Gunsmithing |

The RIFLE does NOT need to be level It is the SCOPE that needs to be level when shooting brMatters NOT one bit whether the rifle is 90 degree horizontal when shooting if the reticle is level The barrel and the rifle doesn't care what orientation it is in, and neither does the bullet Comment from : Rfcdgaf |

This video is a 1st, Too! Me? Really is? Comment from : gavan simkin |

Your content is awesome man, can't stop coming backbrIsn't 1 moa at 100 meters 29mm though? Since at 100 yards (91Meters) it's an inch Correct me if I'm wrong I'm new to all this stuff Thanks again for your content Comment from : Tarvo Kallaste |
It's important to make sure the gun is level but I feel this pertains more to shooting from a pod or a rest if you're shooting offhand primarily I don't think a level is practical to check for each shot you just have to do your best to keep your reticle square Comment from : Artie the Archon |
I've always felt levels were needed - but nobody was using them Nice video Comment from : Working Guy |
Yeah sureanother gimmick to spend money on those bubble levels are not accurate enough good product placement Comment from : toll |
and this is why wannabe gangsters that shoot with their gun tilted to the side miss! Comment from : MandH14 |
Such an overlooked aspect of shooting Such a simple fix So many guys put themselves at a deficit from the start because they neglect to control every single possible variable at the shooters position before the round even leaves the muzzle With 175gr SMK 3 degrees of cant which the average human eye cannot see results in over a 2 foot change in POA/POI at 1000yds Already at a 2 foot deficit at 1000yds Neglecting to account for spin drift can add another foot deficit Already 3 feet off target depending on which way the gun is canted at 1000 yds And now we didnt even get to wind and range uncertainty, MV deviation, and user errorbrbrGreat video, diggin the channel guys 👍 Comment from : Simple Marksmanship Solutions |
Why don't they just make scopes with a reticle that always stays level? Comment from : Steven Bene |
"snipe rifle in schoolhummmsnipe school" lol Comment from : Desmond Fun |

This all makes perfect sence, especially at distance Some people skiped calculus, maybe they were to cool for math, and stink at shooting long Comment from : John |
What do you think of the Picatinny-Style like the Flatline Ops Tango RM ACCU/LEVEL Scope Level? is it better to just use the levels that mount directly on the scope? Comment from : Kevin4319 |
I love all the videos and lessons from an amazing warrior but don’t ya think it’s too much info put out there on the Internet to train the bad guys? I feel like it gives up allot of tactics we use from breaching a structure to room clearing movement NOD use etc Comment from : Jay Dubbs |
I bet Karl can do a killer Christopher Walken imitation Comment from : Teddy Salad |

It's much the same as being damn sure that your compass needle is not snagging the least little bit when attaining or following an azimuth A little bit off in your base reading can mean a hell of a lot off in closing head on with your objective! brListen to & Trust the Man's voice of experience, and Bracket that br'Speculative Argumentative Ego Shit'brFor obtaining good information & using it for the sake of others lives, means thatbr"Your, & Their best fights, are the one's that never happened!''br -former recondo sgt 'rock' 82nd abn 1/504 inf bn 71-74 12717 Comment from : Sold to be Diers |

I wish I could draw a picture because this concept is so easy to understand visually but hard for some people to grasp by description alone This dude is dead on, leveling is critical in small groupings at range If you don't believe it try hitting a target at 500 yards with your gun turned 90 degrees Shouldn't matter right? Go find out Comment from : D Mullins |
Great Video ! Watched some of the great Sniper 101 series And this is another way to miss on the First Shot Thank you for the video ! tjl Comment from : Tim Lipinski |
For those who think eyeballing it is best, experiment by going prone, first aiming directly aheadeasy to level there Now, go 20 degrees off to the side You'll find your head is at a different angle affecting your perception of level You'll likely be canting Comment from : Ronnie Boydstun |
Great Lesson, Thank You brBIG RON Comment from : ron36105 |

Springfield armory came out with a 3x9x56 scope in 94 that had a sprit level in the sight picture and was inside the scopeThis mickey mouse rig will not come back to centet Comment from : Stephen Hoffman |
Maybe I'm retarded but wouldn't the bullet still come out the same whether the gun is straight up and down or even upside down? I mean take it to its natural reverse if the gun were upside down it wouldn't drop differently It seems to me it has more to do with the fact that the scope is elevated off of the barrel Theoretically if you could sight down the bore it wouldn't matter if the gun was 45 degrees or upside down I could be mistaken tho can someone explain this? and wouldn't your level have a greater effect the higher that your scope is mounted off of the rail? Comment from : Dan |
this channel needs more love but im glad that its small for now Comment from : bugaljuice |

Watch THLR (on youtube) and his view on cantlevels Human eye can differentiate on 03° angle cants No need for equipment Comment from : Robert Johansen |

"This thing's a 338 Lapua brother, this thing will rattle your teeth loose" Comment from : Will Lawson |
Okay, here is my understanding of how this works The barrel of a gun is a round pipe No matter how much you rotate it the bullets path is not changed When you tilt a rifle out of level you are effecting the relationship between true vertical and true horizontal in regards to the optics adjusting system So when you adjust for elevation you are also effecting the windage because the elevation adjustment is now not moving straight up but rather at an angle causing your point of aim to change in both elevation and in windage at the same time Comment from : Alex Denney |
Just like a mortar sight Except for it is direct lay on to a target Comment from : reddevilparatrooper |

Todd Hodnett says 1 degree cant is 6 inches at 1000 yards Comment from : XRing15 |

Crazy how ever war the military learns something new and adjust Before this video I thought those levels were goofy gadget BS, but now it makes perfect sense Thanks for the info Comment from : starshipfantastica |
Could you guys do some videos that have to do with team-squad related things? Maybe like room clearing or immediate actions drills? You have tons of excellent videos that deal with individual skills but what about videos that could help us develop our units? Comment from : Aaron Golosov |
I honestly don't know the answer to this and I think it will help me understand the physics of firearms I understand the concept of bullet arc, but is that a natural cause of the round being expelled from the chamber from the explosion of the powder? Or is it because the barrel is not parallel to the ground (At an upward angle) while the rail is and this causes the arc?brBy the way guys, love the videos! I was at T1G a few years back and learned a lot that I still carry with me Comment from : Brendan Dowling |
why not put it on the rail? Comment from : dark821 |

This guy is cool as hell Comment from : The Mike Franzone Podcast |
This is absolutely wrong The bullet flies the same way irregardless of the angle of the gun According to this video the rifle isn't governed by physics However the scope would be cant throwing all the holdovers off Comment from : Michal Poznanski |
