Wouldn’t pay 8k for the 58 Z lens even if I had a Z camera body to screw it on to Were I still a shooting pro I could see its application and ability to give a competitive advantage but you’d better be one of photography’s best/highest earners or a wealthy enthusiast Me, I’m thrilled with my D850 and my Nikkor 58mm F14G, a superlative lens if you know how to use it; clients may not know why but they’ll know they love the shots from that bad boy I’d buy it again and again, even at the old price!!! Ciao

The 50mm f/095 is not a lens for enthusiasts and hobbyists It's a statement of modern lens design possibilities that can be harnessed for special projects - probably hired for a special use case No-one should buy this lens except commercial design or movie houses, etc Otherwise just hire it for an occasion And if you want a large aperture 50mm AF lens with lot's of usability, get the 50mm f/12 S

To answer your speculations - yes, we are a married couple, living in North-Iceland We both work as landscape- and wildlife photographers and recently started to take our YouTube channel seriously, posting videos about our photography and projects Your video is great! There is a lot happening in the Nikon department We look forward to Z8 or Z9 Those cameras will hopefully combine the speed and high ISO needed for wildlife with the megapixels needed for landscape The one body that does it all ;-)

Yep, kids these days don't really know much of the techniques of photography, lighting, etc I personally have been studying the basics, lighting, posing and all of that but nowadays everyone is just relying on the specs of a camera the camera industry is becoming like the cell phone industry, just trying to release these, sometimes rushed products, just to hype people and have them buy your product which to me is crazy we don't a new camera every year, it is just very counter productive, and bad for the environment anyway, just my take lol awesome video as always

Great video regarding manual focusing on a wedding that's all we did in the 70's, 80's 90's it wasn't till the mid 2000's that I went digital from medium format that I even trusted auto focus I found it to be slower than manual focus ,even now in very low light these cameras are paper weights unless you spend 6 grand :)
