I actually stack only gold maples, and I have more silver maples than any other silver When I first started stacking around 2006 I had this weird idea that the US had confiscated gold in the past, and therefore I should not buy US eagles or buffalos in case they were somehow more trackable! If I were starting today I'd almost certainly stack buffalos, but since I started with Canadian maples I see no reason to change There's certainly nothing wrong with them, slightly cheaper to buy and to sell than US mint bullion, so it's a wash Silver is awkward because the premiums are and have always been high, but I have some ASEs, some maples, some 10 oz bars that I'd probably sell on a price spike, and a whole lotta US 90 junk silver

Buffalo rounds and bars are not terribly expensive because they offer the lowest level of monetary protection from inflation Dealers don't like to pay to buy these items back but they love to sell them to you You will learn this and take a beating when you try to convert back to cash Maples are nice but they are not a good idea to buy either Silver Philharmonics, silver Krugerrands and silver Kooks also have poor trade-in value I know because I have bought and sold them all I would now only buy and sell 90 US silver coins and silver Eagles Avoid the rest of this stuff

At 4 minutes into the video, it is the very reason why I only go for LOWEST PREMIUM OVER SPOT When silver goes high, it all sells at the same price per ounce AS SUCH, my only buys are silver kilo bars and 40 Kennedy halves because they go for the lowest over spot When silver makes it's big move, those eagles and 40 Kennedy halves -- dealers will all be buying your silver at the same price over spot

Another question in regards to preference comes to mind watching this video: brbrSovereign Coins VS Mint Made CoinsbrbrI tend to look at the Premiums paid for my investment in the same way I would at car insurance (A necessary expense)… The question comes because I been giving priority to 1oz Mayan Silver coins/bars over Maples, Britannias etc; when the time comes to sell, wouldn’t we be talking Silver Oz regardless?
