Man, Unknown's stage is more creepy in the arcade version I'm glad I have the PS2 and HD version of this I can see the difference The Soundtracks are different, the stage is running on Tekken 3 engine in the arcade version, and the "You Win!" text are in a different position And the Arcade opening in the PlayStation version Paul and Lee switch places I remember in the arcade version Paul was on his motorcycle before opening scene was ending and when I was watching it on the PS2 version Lee was driving a white car Comment from : Brandon Perez |

Well PS3 version (I own this game on PS3) for me as 1 a difference in technology being two generations System 12 I think it is was essentially a PS1 overclocked by 50 with additional ram and maybe software z buffering or a physical chip in addition What makes the PS3 version better? It's a port of the PS2 version of TTT The PS2 version PS3 version would have made more sense than comparing the PS3 version to the arcade If memory serves me correctly the PS2/3 version has 4K polygons per character up from 1000-1300 on System 12 version The PS1 version knocked the polys down to 800-1000 which is why it looks similar but different Higher texture quality and filter on the PS3, looks like crude fur or hair shading on the PS3 version The PS3 version also has additional lighting effects, smoke billowing up from caldrons A slight hint of atmospheric fog on the PS3 version as well with high quality textures on the ground With that said I think the System 12 version backgrounds appears sharper every so slightly than the PS3 port Comment from : hababacon |

Well of course the PS3 (And PS2) version of this game will get my win i do however wanna say playing the arcade version is worth a try In fact i actually LOVE the arcade version of this game It's essentially Tekken 3 with different variants of the stages, and new music that i wish made it on the home version of Tekken Tag 1 (The arcade soundtrack is SO underrated) Also just to let anyone who had not caught this detail yet, The aracde opening in the arcade port has Lee in the city with Paul on his bike, while the PS2 has them switch places with Lee riding around in his convertible (Depending on which version of Tekken tag 1 Arcade you play you can get that version of the opening on Arcade too) It would have been nice to have hat the the Arcade OST as well Even a PS1 port would have been nice in my opinion Comment from : etrotm12 the Blue Wolf |
