My hair is damaged now AGAIN…brBut I remember back in middle school when I barely had time to keep washing and styling, I would just run conditioned through my curls with my fingers and only comb out the back of my hair which was the only part that would get tangled and before I knew it my hair was so healthy I didn’t need a comb or brush to detangle, my hand were enough 🥺 so I literally can relate to this video I remember when my hair was this healthy it was sooo cooperative and easy to maintain

Oh noooo sweetheart, NEVER detangle with the denman brush!!!! The bristles are so harsh and so not flexible It rips out so much hair and causes breakage, i definitely recommend using the denman brush only when styling and using a brush with flexible bristles for detangling (i recommend the tangle teezer brush)

I can vouch for the genetics I'm mixed however I ruined my hair with coloring and perms 😔 My hair was dry brittle and in very bad shape So I completely agree it's all about how you take care of your hair regardless of your genetics

I've taken hair vitamins in the past but they've always made my face break out Its either I sacrifice my skin for my hair or continue to care for it in the same way that you do Ive been doing the same method for years but my hair just grows so slow I try to be gentle with it, I wear it in gentle protective styles, I make sure my ends and scalp are moisturized, and I stick to what ik works for my hair I honestly dont know what to do anymore
